Zcyhie Elizabeth's POV

"Maximo?" I saw a pair of dark hazelnut eyes in front of me. It's the business partner of my Gramps, one of the members of the Necromancy band headed by Clement. "Maximo Mojojo," I mumbled.

Ever since I've came back at my hometown, Stygian Realm had changed, crimes were everywhere. But some things weren't. I averted my gaze towards him. His hair looked like a rockstar.

"I've heard the news. How are you?" Maximo asked me with a concerned look on his face.

"Perfectly fine, still alive and kicking." I glanced at his side, there's a girl who looked exactly just like him, holding a blue umbrella.

"I'm Emma. Maximo's twin," she said, extending her right hand as her lips curved into a smile.

"A pleasure to meet you. You're my block mate, but I never had a chance to talk to you," Emma added.

"Oh I'm sorry. I haven't notice you." I momentarily halt. I pointed the guy wearing a blue eyes, as if he's waiting for the rain to stop. "Anyway, who was that guy over there?" I added.

She shifted forward and level her mouth towards my right ear.

"My boyfriend, Raven. He's also our classmate," she said. I laughed for a bit.

"Good taste!" Then, I winked at her. I saw a taxi then, lifted my index finger. And the taxi approached in front of the oak tree.

"Alright. So, I'll go ahead?" I took a glance towards the sound of the chains. It was gone. Then, I held back towards Maximo as the driver grabbed my box towards the car.

Before I could climb up, I heard Maximo, "I'll forward the papers and the databased that we retrieved."

I smiled as a response.

Throughout the ride, I remained silent. After the gate analyze my eyes, it immediately opened. I told the taxi driver to wait for me for the box might get wet.

I rushed towards the front door and placed the wet grocery food at the floor. I returned and grab the box as my body is now soaking wet because of the rain.

No one was at home. The dim lights coming from the night light near the kitchen was vivid at the ground floor and the crickets and barkings were the only thing you could hear.

Aunt Cheska, Cooper, and Cohen were in the hospital taking care of my Gramps. Clement, on the other hand, was at the bar having his gig while I'm home to bring some cloths and foods for my grandfather.

I unboxed the things and food that I've brought and grabbed the dry cloth as I wiped the wet plastics.

It made me wonder for a while. It wasn't just any other accident nor the electrical wirings. It was all planned. But who dared to set this up?
