Zcyhie Elizabeth's POV

Lincoln's house was a type of minimalistic modern house with great space arrangement. The aesthetic of the house took many cues from modernism, including a flat roof, large expanses of glass and minimal furnishings inside.

"Evans, this wasn't Persephone's and Hades story." I threw the nearest pillow from my lap into his face, then I rolled my eyes in annoyance as I scanned through his laptop.

"I know. I know!" he said as he laughed. He wore white plain shirt on his top with a black ripped jeans with a chain on his left pocket.

That looks nice. I gazed at his dark blue eyes, watching the monitor of his computer. I'm almost done with my paper.

This day was supposed to be the deadliest deadline for the reaction paper. But since Blue was dead, I'm working all alone but Evans insisted to invite me over his house. I gazed towards the surroundings.

Their living room has a long glass wall that provided a good view to their garden. It was like a contemporary architectural style.

He pinched the bridge of his nose before he said, "But I can be Hades, if you want to."

"You wish." I paused for a while, laughing at him and asked, "And I'm Persephone?"

"Oh, please cut the crap out," I added. I crossed my arms as I proofread my reaction paper. I admit, this paper was lengthy and kind a boring.

The soft warm colors of the new brickwork were matched with the cool grey concrete floor to give the house a simple elegance without losing the feeling of a cozy spaces that could be enjoyed throughout your stay.

"This wasn't a fairytale, Evans." I quickly retorted.

"Print this out. I'm all done." I stretched my arms, and in my peripheral, he gazed at me.

"Your tummy was showing." I immediately fixed myself.

"Next time don't dress something like that."

I snapped my fingers and said, "Yes, Grandpa Evans." I wore a blue crop top with black ripped jeans paired with my black leather jacket which was placed on the colored cream sofa.

"Let's eat first before we head out to school." He walked towards their kitchen.
I followed him using my gaze, in the kitchen, cool grey concrete flooring and worktops was combined with fern-green cabinets, while the renovated first-floor bathroom brought the pink tones of natural plaster together with pale grey tiles.

"Right," I said, stretching my arms.

I shook my head as I remembered Clement. He hasn't been home since yesterday, and I haven't seen him the whole day. Well, that's fine. He's already nineteen.

I gazed towards the large glazed openings that brought so much light. The sun shined brightly but the weather was fairly cold as the wind kept on blowing. The gust of winds blew the trees making it bend over.
