Zcyhie Elizabeth's POV

A low, waning gibbous moon hovered tenuously in the twilight heaven, bestowing a very dim light upon the window. It was a cool, windy night... the swaying of trees and rustling of leaves could be heard but not seen, as the encompassing darkness had blotted out all but the faintest light.

I was about to close my eyes when I heard the loud opening of the old wooden door.

"Looks like we have a sudden guest." I heard Blue as she grinned widely from ear to ear. She went to my direction and gripped at my bloody shoulder. She untied the knot of my feet attached at the cold metal chair. The girl is nothing but a fool.

Crickets buzz, air whir, and my feet pat against the cold concrete and the metal chair. There was a low hum of voices in the distance. There were also shadows of her persons near the door.

"Ouch!" I shouted as she grabbed my hair. "Get off me, you damn filthy froggot." It badly hurts, like she's pulling my hair out.

She let a laughed hysterically. "Let's welcome them." She leveled her mouth on my ears. "With your death."

I laughed before I answered her. "Alright then, see you in hell." She pulled my hair once again as I climbed down from the metal chair.

"Do you want to know a little secret?" I cut her off upon seeing the blue eye guy near the door, catching his breath, pinching his nose bridge.

"What are you doing here?" I averted my gaze at him momentarily then, backed at Blue.

"Here comes your knight and shining armor," she said, grabbing my hair harder.

"Lincoln," I whispered.

"Blue, let Zcyhie go." He paused, his eyes were pleading. "She doesn't have any idea about this."

I gazed at Evans. "You knew this all along?" I raised the question, before I continue. "You forbid me to know the truth!"

"Zcyhie stay calm," he said in a sweet calm voice.

"Look at that sweet little moment." Blue halted. "Too unfortunate, you're going to die."

"Put that down, Lincoln," Blue babbled. he slowly dropped the gun at the floor. "Or else, this girl's brain will scatter around this room."

I paused for a moment, trying to recompose myself as my heart started to increase its pound. Blue started walking towards the door as she firmly held my hair.

He was about to take a step when I saw a shadow behind his back. "Evans, behind you!"

"Bid farewell to your lover, honey." As she uttered those words, I grabbed the opportunity to kick her legs, making her stumble at the pavement. In my peripheral, I saw Evans busy defending himself from the attacker.
