Enri Emott was scared. She was frightened out of her wits this time, she feared that this might be the last thing she ever sees in her whole young and short life. The creeping sensation of fear as helpless washes and drowns her, the pressure of Nemu's little body was pressed painfully close to her chest. Her back shielding her little sister from the oncoming swing. This is it, she prayed to any god she ever knew and even those she didn't and braced herself for the pain that would flare up and consume her existence. But it never came. "How pathetic, chasing little girls and killing them for sport now are you?" A soothing velvety voice seemed to ring loudly and freeze time. Enri looked up to see the woman, the owner of the voice, that was her saviour casually holding onto the blade with her left hand, not a single trickle of her blood was seen despite her vice-like grip onto the blade, grasping it tightly. The soldier thrashed and attempted to rip the blade from the woman's clutches to no avail, he looked so weak in comparison to the petite lady. This woman was an ethereal beauty, everything from her hair to her facial features, down to the way her clothes hung off her shoulders and clung to all the right spots. This lady looked like a goddess. Whatever happened now, Enri would forever have a life debt to this being.

Drakiania's POV;
I arrived just in time to stop the blade from swinging down onto the girls. Any second later and they would have been sliced sashimi. Scoffing at the shocked faces of the soldiers, I casted a quick spell. [Dragon's kindle], instantly a whirlwind pillar of flames engulfed the nearest soldiers and consumed him, before moving onto the next and leaving behind his charred remains.

I sighed in annoyance and disappointment, to think they fell to such a simple low 4th tier spell. They really were the weakest of the weak. Looking at the charred remains, I pointed at them before casting [Tiamat's Feast]. A red molten blob consumed the bodies and formed the shape of a young dragonling. Of course, such weak enemies couldn't birth very strong summons, regardless I faced the youngling and commanded it to attack every soldier it came across and to not harm any human. With a chorus of happy guttural growls, it flapped off eager for blood. Now that's odd, they were supposed to be more like familiars, at that age they shouldn't be flying off to fight solo....

I turned back to the two girls, noting the older one's obvious injuries, I inquired on her well being. Meanwhile, Sebas was insisting that I not bother with such trivial things such as the life of mortals. I turned to Sebas, "Of course I need to make sure they are fine right? Would it not be a waste to have saved their lives only for one of them to put my efforts to waste by dying of blood loss, Sebas?" Sebas immediately bowed his apologies and stepped towards the girls who were still hesitant to reply me, "Well? My Lady asked you a question, do not keep her waiting and answer this instant!"

This seemed to have snapped the girls out of their stupor as the elder one answered that she was fine, but was cut off halfway by my gaze. It was obvious she was lying, with a sigh, I muttered [Light Heal], under my breath and watched as the girls were amazed at the gash closing up on it own. I then told the girls to stay put and set up the barriers [Anti-life Cocoon] and [Wall of Arrow}. Instructing them not to move and tossed them two cash shop items as per Momonga's request. [Horn of Goblin Commander], was a low leveled item and served no purpose to us other than to collect dust in our inventories.

After briefly telling them what it does I left with Sebas close behind.

"Pardon my ignorance My Lady, but why were you so generous towards them? Were they something more than worthless mortal filth?" I turned to face Sebas, "Sebas, you are not wrong that they are worthless, but me and Momonga wish to gain a foothold on this village the peaceful way. By seeming as though we went above and beyond to save their lives, they have no way to refuse us when we ask them for things in exchange for our service. In this case, it would be our request for information."
