A Breakdown Of Drakiana's Character.
______________________So during the course of this book, there was a little incident with a hate comment that left me 𝕊𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕪 𝕋𝕚𝕝𝕥𝕖𝕕.
The gist of the comment can be summed up as the person hating on Drakiania, saying that she is not even a human but a thing. This person wrote the whole hate comment refering to Drakiania as an IT and then labeled her as a "monster" several times. Their problem was basically how she had acted towards humans (they sounded real salty over a fictional character for reasons unknown). At the time I wasn't in favour of really explaining much of why she had acted as such, because obviously, that would spoil the story and the whole character building I'm going for. And I'm not going to lie, I was pissed that they wrote off a character that I had worked so hard on building and writing details for as a monster. Like, please person I shall not name, pick up the clues I'm putting down or not, you're never going to enjoy the story. (They left this comment on the one chapter that was supposed to help them understand more about Drakiania AKA her character profile🙄🙄, one of the many chapters to help you know more about her without me having to spell or list it all out.)
But still at that point, I have given the readers enough behavioural clues to clue them in on what is going on. But then it dawned on me that people might not be so observant as to read between the lines and analyse a fictional character. So allow me to give you a full breakdown on her character and introduce you to my best friend "Psychology".

Let's start from the very beginning: her childhood. The way a child develops is very important for their future, be it in social-emotional behaviour or learning rates. As such, a child needs a lot of 'loving touch', contact with the parent will help them develop their emotional sector better than if they do not. The result of a lack of 'loving/warm touch' is that the child will become distant and detached with their emotions. They have trouble expressing themselves when they grow up, you can provide a child all they need in terms of survival but lacking physical touch will still result in them turning out messed up. In the sense that, they are despondent even when stimulated when they pass a certain threshold. A good real life example of this would be the children's orphanages in Romania.Because of this lack of touch and poor interaction in general, Averath as an infant never got to foster primary bonds with her main caregiver, also known as attachment bonds, that are needed to enable her to fully understand emotions. So due to the lack of any distinct attachment pattern that a young child should display by 1 (the time between attachment-in-the-making phase and clear-cut attachment phase), somewhere along this point she had developed attachment disorder. Some obvious signs of this disorder is a failure to smile often, sad/listless appearance and watching others closely but not engaging in social interactions. This can all be seen from the intermission chapter: Anniversary.

FanfictionThis time Momonga isn't alone in the New World but with his long time friend Drakiania. ----------- I'm aware I gave the female protagonist a name, it's mostly to fit her avatar. I'll try not to mention too many details so y'all can still imagine it...
