Please play the video as a background music while you read this chapter, I don't usually do this but I think it really compliments the ambiance. :) Also please do read this using scrolling, I think it helps set the mood better too :) Also, I'm low-key pissed at Wattpad, the format keeps getting messed up and I have no way to fix it :( but regardless, Enjoy!❤️

A weary darkness envelopes my being,
Cold, impenetrable and sinking.
Heavy, thoughtful yet blissful hush settling,
In this space I am unfeeling.

Then from the abyss, bursts forth brilliant rays of light.

Apparently my eyes had been open the whole time,
purples and blues danced and swirled.
They spun and mixed,
Soaring and painting the walls with a shine.

The wonderous space was only something I had ever seen in my mind's eye.
The type of thing that never comes to fruition,
because there could never be a perfect replication.

Like refracted shards of light, illusions and images start to dance along the surface of the crystalline like air.
Resplendent penumbral light illuminated,
but no shadows were ever casted.

Without my consent, my legs carried me further into the lustrous space.
My feet were soundless,
my body, weightless.

The spectral images flittered past me,
quick and sprightly.
Swooping down to skim their intangible fingers across my cheek before they flew off, free.

But the alluring scenery decayed and depleted.
The illustrious walls filled with colours drained.
The iridescent sparks of illusion fizzled out and dropped.

The dream turned drab and gave way to a lucid glow of incandescence.
The dream of life turned into one of malice and abhorrence.

The resplendent walls were slashed and fractured by the incandescent glow of crimson.
What stared back at me was not the beloved dragon,
but instead, the sunken face of the empty shell I had long abandon.
Crimson with golden bled irises replaced with the dull ebony.
Hair dyed the colour of a Raven's down feathers replaced the silky locks of silvery snow.
What peered back from the endless abyss of the turned dream was the true form of all Supreme Beings.

The disgusting fleshy husk of a human.
The species of animals who thought they were above everything that the Old World had set as rules.
The species that thought that they stood above the original inhabitants of the World.
The beings who tainted the World,
bled it dry,
cut it barren,
turned its insides out.
All for their own profit and their own constructed ideas.
They sought to build their own utopias, a transmogrified, sanguinary vision of "splendour".
But they failed to ensure that the foundations were secure and as a result,
It caved.
