"Bye Rae," Fionna waves, earning a wave from Realynn back.

As Raelynn takes a seat at one of the benches outside, she admires the sound of teenagers talking and laughing. She always loved when it was noisy.

Closing her eyes, she smiles to herself as she imagines.

She imagines a world where everyone was happy.

She imagines a world where no one ever hated each other or strongly dislike one another.

And she sat there, smiling, the soft breeze blowing back some of her hair.

"Excuse me, lass," An unfamiliar voice brings Raelynn back to the real world, opening her eyes.

Infront of her was a woman who she has never seen before. But she still sends her the nicest smile.

"Hello, may I help you?" Raelynn asks, getting up to help the woman.

"Yes, please," The lady sighed, grabbing Raelynns hands. "I need help finding my son, Michael." She pleads.

Immiedietly, Raelynn nods her head.

"How does he look like?" Raelynn asks politely.

"Don't you know him?" The lady asks.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know many little kids. Other than my brother." Raelynn tells her, laughing a little.

"Oh no, he isn't a child. He goes to this school." The woman says, making Raelynn confused.

Never has she ever heard of a Michael in her school.

"I'm sorry miss, bu-"

"Michael! Oh there you are," The woman exclaims, interrupting Raelynn and running towards her son.

With furrowed eyebrows, Raelynn turns around, her brown eyes meeting soft green ones.

He was standing extremely close to her, making her take a few steps back.

"I'm sorry," Raelynn apologizes, making Michael smile.

"Come on now, lets get going." The woman said, tugging onto Michael's arm.

Raelynn watches a they walk away, but mostly she looks at Michael.

He didn't say anything to his mother as they walked, making her a little confused.

"Rae, hurry up," Stacey's voice shouts, making Raelynn stand up and hurry towards the running car.

-

"So Jax, how was your day?" Emily asked, while Raelynn stuffed her mouth with a roll.

"It was good. I saw a pretty girl." He said simply, smiling slightly.

"Oooooh, Jaxon's got a girly friend." Raelynn mocks, making Jax blush.

"Nu-uh, shes just my friend." He smiled, eating happily.

"Whatever you sa-"

Raelynn is interrupted by the sound of the front door being slammed shut.

"Rae, take Jax upstairs." Emily demands, making Rae nod her head and quickly pick up her six-year-old brother.

"Mason, what are you doing here?" Emily asked nervously, standing up and walking towards him.

He took deep breathes, seeming to try and calm down.

Upstairs, Jax is strongly helt tight in his sisters arms, knowing exactly what's going to happen.

And the yelling starts.

And the tears fall.

And the bruises form.

And Raelyn holds Jax tighter, wiping his tears away.

"It's okay," Raelyn whispered.

Even though she knew, it really wasn't.
