"Michael?"

Quickly, Michael removed his headphones and flipped over his notepad.

Once he saw the voice to whom said his name, he smiled.

'Raelynn.'

"Michael, what are you doing here all alone?" Raelynn asked, walking infront of Michael. "Can I sit?"

Quickly Michael wrote on another piece of his notepad.

Of course.

"Now, tell me. Why are you sitting all alone at a park on a saturday evening?"

Because, Raelynn, I sometimes want to be alone.

Smiling, Raelynn nods.

"I'm bothering you, I should go."

Before Raelynn could walk away, though, Michael grabbed on to her arm, sitting her back down.

It's fine.

He wrote, smiling at her.

"If you don't mind, Michael, can I ask what you were writing? Before I got here?" The kindness in her voice was practically pouring from her lips.

Sighing, Michael wrote on a seperate piece of paper, not wanting to lie to his dearest love.

I like to write my emotions. A diary, if you would.

Laughing, Raelynn nodded.

"I had a diary. But I lost it... I still don't know where it is. It had the whole kittens and rainbow design on it." She laughed, shaking her head. "It's nice that you write down your emotions. My mum once told me writing them was better than bottling them."

'I do a little of both.'

Michael only nodded, admiring how her hair blew away from her perfect face.

Raelynn wasn't the skinniest girl, nor the prettiest, but to Michael, she was all he wanted.

If looks didn't matter in this cruel world, everyone would be in love with Raelynn's personality.

He would much rather have a kind, beautiful, and gorgeous personality in a girl than an ugly, cold, and rude one.

"Can I...?" Raelynn asked, pointing towards his notepad.

Sighing, Michael shook his head.

Sorry. I don't like people reading it, not even mum.

"It's alright, Michael." Raelynn smiled, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I'm going to the store, want to walk with me?"

Of course.

-

"Then, he came up to me all panicky and I asked him 'what's wrong?' and he just pointed towards the bathroom." Raelynn bursted out laughing, wiping her tears. "So that's my brother. He starts to cry if he floods the toilet."

Typing in his phone, Michael smiles as a monotone voice says,

"Ha ha ha. He sounds like a cool little brother."

Raelynn and Michael where trying to find an app for Michael to communicate earlier, since his hand started to hurt from all the writing.

"He is. You should meet him one day. Actually, you should meet everyone. I don't have a really big family, just a mum, sister, brother, and a nana." Raelynn said, fiddling with her fingers.

"What about your dad."

Raelynn was silent, but only for a moment.

"He, um, he isn't with us."

Then, Michael knew he hit a soft spot.
" I'm sorry. That wasn't a cool thing to ask. I'm sorry."

"It's fine Michael." Raelynn laughed, shaking her head.

"Your laugh is pretty."

Raelynm raised an eyebrow at Michael, chuckling softly.

"I never knew a laugh could be pretty." Raelynn smiled.

"People say some laughs are cute. Yours is pretty."

Raelynn blushed, ever so slightly, at Michael's robotic phone app.

"Michael, you cheeky little thing."

"Cheeky is my middle name."
