The next morning Raelynn walks hesitantly down the stairs, Jax's small hand in hers.
"Stay here," She whisperes to him, walking down the stairs and onto the cream carpet. "Emily?" She shouts, walking into the kitchen.
There's shattered glass everywhere on the tile floor, making Raelynn tear up.
"Raelynn? Do you see her?" Jax's voice says from the top of the stairs.
"Don't come down" Raelynn's shaky voice shouts back, stepping over the shattered glass, walking inside the livingroom.
And there lay her sister, cold on the ground, bruises on her arms, a bleeding lip and a black eye on her face.
"Emily," Raelynn whispers, kneeling down beside her broken-down sister.
She slowly reaches for her sisters hand, entwining them together.
"Jax, bring me the phone please, baby." Raelynn cries, standing up and walking towards the stairs.
-
"Where is she," The voice of Raelynn's mother asks desperately at the receptionist.
The nice lady nods sadly towards where Raelynn and Jax lay, Jax asleep peacefully in her arms as she sits on the uncomfortable chairs.
"Rae, honey, are you okay?" Her mother asks, tears spilling out her eyes.
"I'm fine mum," Raelynn sighs looking down at Jax. "We're fine."
"Did he see anything?" Her mother whispers, sitting down next to her daughtor.
"No." Raelynn chokes out.
She lays her head on her mum's shoulder, crying silently as she imagines.

A/N: I'm sorry, this is really sad.
And I'm really sorry if you know or are someone who is sort of going through the same family trouble.
I don't want to trigger anything, so I am sorry.
And I'm sorry that this chapter was small.
I can promise you, next chappie is going to be more happier and longer.
Have a wonderful day/night/birthday yeah, you get what I'm saying.
