I waited for a very long time but then suddenly you came into my life
You're like a stranger who clothed my heart-embracing my flawed nakedness
But sadly, I was never destined for someone nor for you
Im just here to reach those drowning butterflies
Drunk with flowery taste of the world yet you've opened my eyes that I'm enough, that I'm worthy-Not just to nurture and to heal others whereas to be loved as well
You promised me the world- you promised that someday we can be together, that we will have our own family
You even wrote me a letter saying you'll stay even if you die-
Sent me sugary words just to wake me up from an itch of slumber or woe
But I guess, even the most beautiful butterfly fades over time-the same as your eloquent promises"I never ask for a man like you, but up until now I'm still wishing for you to come back-to life, to my warm embrace."
