Recalling what had happened today, it left me wondering, couldn't believe letting him touched me, enduring the darkness with him without having myself a faint.

I reached my phone on the bedside table when it squawked.

BDO:

One day, you will wake up without feeling dread towards me anymore. Mark that. You will wake up one-morning craving for my touch. And that's my dream that will surely come true. Thank you for letting me drive you home safely.

And that would be your last drive for me. I didn't reply to him but turned off my phone instead and put it back to the table.

I woke up early to prepare myself clothes to wear at the party. The socialization's theme was Havana night. We had no class today for the said event tonight.

Naghalungkat ako ng mga damit ko para mamaya. I ended up choosing my black crochet set of wardrobe. At exactly four o'clock in the evening, I readied myself. I blow-dried my hair first, then wore my outfit. The crop-top was sleeveless and open back haltered V-neck while the bottom was a slit see-through on the right side of my loose crochet pants but with inner black thigh shorts woven in.

My natural curly long hair was dyed with pale blond of Bench's quick temporary wax color, letting it loose behind my back and some strands were in front. I just put some gloss on my lips and nude eyeshadow that catered and outlined my Asian eyes. A small amount of eyebrow gel, mascara to emerge the green color of my contact lensed eyes, and cheek tint to avoid the appearance of my pallid face. With the nude tassel on my ears and gladiator sandals just the same color of my earrings, and the wooden color of my sling woven bag, I was all set at quarter to seven o'clock in the evening.

Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang sarili ko sa salamin. It's been a while the last time this kind of outfit of mine was being worn. I could do this. I must be brave. I whisked some perfume and decided to go down.

The street corner was just a few steps away from the apartment's gate. When I was in al fresco across the bus stop, I felt the stares of the habitual pleasure seekers in Aleng Vicky's billiard pool. I couldn't cross in the pedestrian because of the cars pacing left and right nonstopped. I felt uneasy when someone approached me and tried to keep his cool.

"Sandali lang may tatawid!" He tried to show his empty power in the street and I couldn't help my eyes but let it rolled over, hearing his troupes laughed.

A sportscar stopped in my facade with its horn kept on blowing made me dodged in horror and this man beside me took the opportunity to assist my uncovered waist.

"Ingat, miss." I trembled and my body went rigid as though I became paralyzed. Feeling his coarse hand on my skin had given me goosebumps. "Miss, okay ka lang?"

"Obviously not." It took Kaushan's voice to wake up my being. Nakita ko nalang ang lalaki na nakahandusay na sa kalsada. His dark eyes darted on the group of people who tried to help their friend, but halted when they saw his raging eyes. "Let's go." He softly held my wrist and opened the passenger door for me. He spun around and maneuvered the car with his jaws intact and left arm rested on the closed window, massaging his temple. Without a doubt, he's pissed.

"T-thank you..." I said almost a whisper gripping my bag without looking at him. Hearing his tiny easy on the ear laughs reverberating on my ears, I cast him a glance. "Surprisingly, my elusive student's heart moved a little. Does that mean—"

"Save it, sir," agad kong putol sa kung ano pa man iyong sasabihin niya. Tumawa lang naman siya. I just told myself last night that it would be his kaat drive for me. But what the hell?

"Dropped me before we arrived at the gate." He stared at me bemused.

"Why?"

"I don't want issues."
