He hid it and smiled. "Nothing." I planted kisses on his face and I smelled alcohol and smoke cigar. Hinila niya ako paupo sa kandungan niya.
"What's the problem?" He held my hand and traced my ring finger.
"Marry me." Napatayo ako sa sinabi niya.
"Are you serious?!" gulat kong tanong. Buo ang bawat paglunok ko habang nakatitig sa kaniya. I was waiting for him to smile and tell me he's just kidding but he seemed serious.
"I am. I always was." Seryoso ang mga mata niya na tumitig sakin.
"I know. But we barely knew each other. You just knew a little thing about me the same goes with me to yours. We're not even sure we can make it."
"So, you're not sure about me yet?" He messed his hair and cupped his face, voice was hurt. He seemed disturbed.
"I am. Hahayaan ko ba na may mangyare sa'tin kung hindi?"
"Then marry me..." he whispered enough for me to hear it.
"I will, but not now, Kaushan."
"Why? Are you considering David Altadena in your future?"
"What?! You're just tired and drunk. Rest now. Talk to me if you're already laid back." Iniwan ko siya at bumalik sa apartment ko.
He's just tired and confused. Malilinawan din siya kapag nakapagpahinga na. He got drunk for some reason but why?
I got disturbed by his actions. Ano bang nangyayari sa kaniya? Kanina pa siya noong umalis kami sa milk tea shop. He even canceled our date after he drove me home.
