"No!" Percy shouted as the three demigods disappeared with a small popping noise.
Annabeth stood at the doorway, staring at the spot they had been in. Percy turned to her, panic written all over his face. She pulled him into a hug.
"Don't worry, we'll figure it out and get them back. We have to tell counselors." Annabeth said, leading them out of the ruined room. Percy buried his face in her shoulder as they shuffled into the daylight.
Grover trotted up to them.
"What's going on? Everyone heard yelling and banging from the Big House." Grover asked. "Is he okay?"
"Call a counselor's meeting in five minutes. It's bad." Annabeth said.
Grover gave her a salute and took off running, yelling for counselors.
"Do you want to get back to your cabin? Shower? You've been up and about for awhile. Neither of us have eaten. We should get breakfast. Other cabins already ate." Annabeth said, gently.
Percy nodded and the two trudged to the dining pavilion. Percy collapsed onto a bench, head down. He felt numb. His new sister and one of his best friends just disappeared with a mad man.
"Jason will take care of them." Annabeth said, handing him a plate of blue pancakes.
They were swimming in a pool of syrup. Just the way he liked them. Percy looked them at the blankly. He could hear Annabeth sigh.
"What if she gets hurt, Annabeth? What if she dies?" Percy asked in low voice.
Annabeth tilted his chin till he was looking at her.
"She won't. Something tells me she's a survivor. She has David and Jason. They won't let her die." Annabeth reassured him.
She kissed him, softly. He melted into the gesture, pulling her in close.
"It'll be okay, Percy. She'll be fine." Annabeth said against his lips.
Percy pulled away and got up. "Counselor's meeting. Let's go."
"Seaweed Brain, you didn't eat." Annabeth protested.
"I'll grab a banana later. Come on, Wise Girl!"
"Percy..."
Percy smirked at her and picked her up. He slung her over his shoulder and took off running.
"Percy!" Annabeth yelled in surprise.
He ran to the counselor's meeting. The serious war councils over a ping pong table.
Chiron quickly started the meeting. The trio of wizards sat in the back. No one talked. Everyone had heard about the kidnapping and the threat of a new war.
"As you may notice, strange things have been happening around camp lately. Jason, Nyssa and our new demigod, David have been captured. We have recently come across an entirely new magically world." Percy explained to the group of demigods.
"Jason's been what?" Piper exclaimed, leaping to her feet.
"Captured." Annabeth replied, solemnly.
"We have to do something!" Piper said, her desperation clear.
"Hold up! Is that where the newcomers that stay in the Big House are from?" Leo asked, his joking grin gone.
"Yes, they are wizards. Guys, stand please." Percy replied.
"I'm Hermione, this is Harry and Ron." Hermione said with a wave.
"That's fine and all but what's happened to the three captured?" Clarisse asked. She toyed with her dagger. Percy could see Ron eyeing it in fear.
