Nephilim: The First Nephilim to become a Seraphim

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 5: 𝔽𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕟

Rin walks down the hallways. He is still mesmerizing the patterns and how it was designed. He is still amazed at the patterns, it seemed to have words screaming on it but it was invisible unless you look closely. He sighed, his weird imaginations was beginning to annoy him for the past few months.

It's been 5 months since Rin met Iblis. He confidently wore the choker around the campus. At first, it was a bit embarrassing. Considering he does not want anything involve with any accessories as he was thought as a girl if he had worn one. But he also didn't like accessories too, except for watches.

When he reunited with his class on that day, he was being tortured by the questions exwires gave him when they saw the choker. The good thing is, they easily accepted his simple answer and went off. Same goes to Yukio.

He thought Shiro would too, but the man did not believe him and kept questioning Mephisto. Well, he got tired of it and just accepted it as a normal sapphire choker that was given to him by a 'friend'.

Rin stopped at his tracks and saw Amaimon standing on the hallway. Lollipop on his mouth and was looking at him with boredom. Rin frowned.

Amaimon was like that last 3 months. And Rin noticed Amaimon to be leaving almost everyday. Ending him to hang out with his classmates after school hours or go to his and Yukio's dorm to spend quality time with Shiro and his twin.

They also had not spoken to each other or made any romantic touches. It was weird for Rin but he was still glad that the other did not do anything sexual for the past 2 months. But it still weirded him out.

Amaimon turn around and walked away from Rin. 'That's it!' Rin ran up to Amaimon, reaching out to grab him.

"Rin! Where are you going?" Shima yelled and Rin stopped to look at him, then to look in front of him. Which was no longer surprised, Amaimon had disappeared. Rin clenched his fist and went up to Shima.

The choker indeed help as he was calmed down. But it does not lessen the pain on his chest. "Hey man, why are you running off there? Did you see something?" Shima asked. The other just smiled and shrug it off.

Both of them went ahead to go to their classes. The class went well and Yukio was grading their test. All of them passed which is a relief for Yukio.

"Class, we'll be meeting with Sir Pheles after this period. So please refrain yourself from escaping now as this is important."

Some groan and some just kept silent. Rin is not bothered. Apparently, Rin already knew the reason why Mephisto wanted to see them. He had discuss it with Rin earlier that day and as usual, it did not excite him as it is only a mission. Although a new mission is a good exercise for the exwires. It will improve their abilities and can taste the experience of finishing a successful mission. Unlike 5 months ago which is only a false one.

When the bell rang, all of the class followed Yukio to the office. Yukio knocked at the door.

"Do come in"

Yukio opened the door and let his class get inside before himself and shuts the door.

Rin let the others sit, especially the girls. He had grown fond of his human classmates this past 8 months. He had learn secrets from them too, which is unpleasant. Like Ryuji, who wanted to kill Satan as a revenge for killing his family and the others too. The same goes for others, they feared Satan and wanted to become an Exorcist so they can kill him. All of them believed that demons under Satan are all cruel and a liar. Rin did felt much more pain but was ease because of the collar.

He had to be careful not to let his secret out to the exwires. Even though Yukio and his former father Shiro knows, he still can't show them that he had gotten his full power long time ago. He still wanted to learn more about the human cultures and other stuffs, he wanted to fill in the times he had lost in Assiah.
