The clean up at Seraphim Station had gone well. Counting the egg we had rescued seven Ovarunt and forty four other prisoners. We had captured three ships including one very large catch ship, took out a dozen corvette fighters and taken another one hundred sixty seven prisoners. The beings had eventually came out of their unconsciousness with no real damage, just a severe headache and the knowledge that all their secrets were now known and that they would be in prison for a very long time! The Galactic Patrol had gotten there quickly this time as they had been stepping up patrols in the area because of the things we had uncovered. The Orphaneans had been put on the most wanted and watched list and any other humans were told to apply for a special status that would clear them so they would not be unduly harassed.

We were ready to head for home, Qutar, it was my home now. I had never been there but had a real yearning just to be able to be there and call it mine. I had seen it through Lererial's mind and knew I would love it. She had shown me some vids and it looked to be a very beautiful place. Many cycles ago the Kitteah had done like most races early on and almost ruined their home planet. Pollution and over population had made a mess out of almost everything. Then they started moving things that could be moved to their moons and even to a couple more of the planets in their system. Heavy industry was moved away, anything that did not require an actual atmosphere to make was made somewhere besides Qutar. Cities were eventually abandoned and torn down as the Kitteah did away with the industry on Qutar and went back to the country to live a more simple life. Today there are no large cities on Qutar and all the buildings are very eco friendly, the homes use natural light sources to illuminate the night and many use natural heating and cooling. Many homes have "living" walls which provide food, light, warmth / cooling and even waste disposal. These living walls are biological wonders developed over centuries of working with nature, and make up what most call "living homes"!

After living on Earth with a population of 50 billion plus, it is hard to imagine being able to walk for miles through a forest and never see another person or a building. The Kitteah use aerial transportation and have no need for roads or highways, Lererial tells me their are many tens of thousands of trails that take you to many beautiful places on Qutar. I also look forward to meeting Lererial's parents and Kittmaw, I feel as though I have known them all my life even though we have never met. And I can't wait to meet Slug, he sounds like such a wonderful being and friend, he may even have a family for us to meet after this long! Yes!! We are going Home!!!

Several days have passed and Garceara was ready to travel. We have concluded the work with the Galactic Patrol and brought them up to date on all that we know about the poachers. A couple of the Ovarunt Enforcers have lent their services to the Patrol which will help give them have an advantage over the poachers, the new tech that the twins have came up with for the Ovarunt is a definite plus. We have just one small detour before we head directly to Qutar, we will stop by the Tarsus system to see if Nedimomar can find his wife. Patriarch and Matriarch have insisted on staying with us until we reach Qutar, they say their help could be needed due to the political instability at the current time. Lererial really feels the weight of this on her right now, as her being gone is the direct cause of the tumult. One of the other clans is trying to invoke an eons old ruling that if a King does not have an heir by a certain time of their rule then they must forfeit their leadership to someone who does. Lererial was the only heir and her not being there has left a rift that is threatening to end the hundred thousand cycles of peace that Qutar has enjoyed. Patriarch seems to think that a few more days wont make any difference so it wont hurt to give Nedimomar a chance to find his wife.

....We jumped into the Tarsus system, I knew immediately that this system had problems. I could feel a tenseness in this system that was borderline to war. I would have had everyone go to cloak but I'm sure we had already been picked up on scanners so to cloak now would only bring more tension. We were greeted by Tarsus Space Control and asked very rudely what business we had in Tarsus system. We explained that we were on an errand of mercy and looking for the wife of one of our crew mates. We were asked to hold at a parking orbit until further notice, after about a two hour wait we were told that we could take a small ship to Tarsus Station above the planet and make a formal request.
