Bad Blood

By the time we reached the edge of the planetary nebulae, Ke & Se had found a solution to the glowing cloak. It was a difficult solution because it was a natural phenomenon. Problems made by beings can be easily figured out, if a being can make it another can figure out how to unmake it! Something that occurs naturally can be difficult go around. Ke & Se applied their patch to themselves and we entered the nebulae. The glow was gone and it also added a difference to the cloak which would make it even harder to detect.

Patriarch Father and Matriarch Mother had stopped by a secret Ovarunt weapons base on Purposia and picked up some advanced battle suits, weapons, armored vehicles and several very advanced Corvette based on Ghost's design. At Tarsus they picked up a platoon of Tarsonian heavy ground troops and five full squads of Shebareleit covert ops soldiers. All the ships had assembled outside the nebulae, there were 17, all Ovarunt. Each ship applied the patch Ke & Se had given them and eased into the nebulae making sure it worked for each individual. We were finally ready to enter the planetary nebulae, designated PN754457.

We immediately began to get images of ships and sentries from our scans, they were not cloaked but camouflaged and / or hiding, so they were very easy to detect. We could tell they were in waiting for something, us probably. We were cloaked, which they thought was impossible inside the nebulae. We placed cloaked magnetic mines close to every ship and every sentry as we were going deeper and deeper into the nebulae. We came to the planetary mass that had been revealed in the rift and waited, we waited ten days, they had to know we were coming or possibly even that we were here. It was obvious that this was a very large base, there were power signatures from many generators and even some captured Ovarunt!! No movement on a base this size had to mean they expected something!

We sat silent, knowing we had the advantage if we just waited. My mind alarms were screaming!!!! There were multiple enemies in our area, we could pounce now and shut this base down! Something else inside me was telling me to wait! We waited another three days. A very large ship entered the nebulae and headed to the base, there was an Ovarunt on board, recently captured, in good health and ready to join our fight, this made 18! Mykereyl was nowhere to be found but I could feel several of his abominations!

I was able to pierce the psi shielding of the capture ship and touch the mind of the captured Ovarunt, "This is Benjy QuGolden, Sartaril Kittar Rosfal!"

"What?... It is so good to hear your voice in my mind, Sir! How are you getting through to me?"

"We are hidden around the base you are headed to with plans to shut it down and release it's prisoners"

"This is good news, Sir. If I can get free I can help, I am... was an Ovarunt Enforcer, Emeryal Drosekl."

I had joined Patriarch to the link, "You are still an Enforcer, you are just working undercover at the moment!" Patriarch told him, "This is from the order of the Grand Patriarch!"

"Yes Sir! I stand corrected Sir! What are your orders for me Sir!"

"You will proceed as Benjy sees fit, he is the leader of this operation, I'm just here for ride!!"

The three of us had a small laugh which helped to relieve some tension, "Emeryal, as Patriarch told you, you are now working undercover. We are about to take down the psi shield of the transport you are in without them knowing it is down. You will be able to hear and see as you normally would, do not respond to anyone other than myself, Patriarch or Ke & Se. Give Ke & Se a live feed of all you pick up. It will be really helpful to know where gun mounts are, any troops, vehicle and flier hangars, any other ships that may be on the inside of the base. Lastly there are three abominations that are somewhere inside this base, I feel them. I need as much information as possible about these creatures.
