The Outer Arm

Everyone was loaded aboard Ke & Se, we were fully stocked and ready for a very long voyage. We had said our goodbyes, gave our last hugs and kisses! Shanaeh and Kerry had decided to stay with Mom & Dad, with the newborns and the dangerous nature of the mission... I understood completely. Besides we would be in each others minds the whole time anyway. Slug and Belle had asked for a days leave before we got underway and we naturally had agreed, we figured they wanted some more private time in nature before being in space for possibly several forte. They wanted to be in nature all right, Belle called for my help to teleport something to the ship so I went to where they were. I was shocked, there in front of me were several hundred Kilos of Doery, quartered and ready for transport to the ships freezers. Belle and Slug were grinning from ear to ear as they watched my expression.

"Did you partake of this bounty before we take it to the ship, it is your privilege to do so."

"No, but if you will take the meat to the ships freezer, we will indulge ourselves while you are gone, Thank You!" they disappeared into the brush

I teleported the fresh kill directly to the freezer and almost didn't have enough room to put it, note to Ke & Se, a little extra cold storage.

"It will be taken care of, Sir"

"You girls, always reading a guys mind!!!" and I imitated their maniacal laughter!!

In a few minutes Belle called again and I returned to Qutar, they had made a large kill and wanted to share. I went back to the ship, grabbed Lererial before she had a chance to say a word and was back in the brush with Belle and Slug. I could feel her mouth watering as she viewed the kill, but she asked about the others. I showed her what had just been loaded into cold storage. She smiled, relaxed and was ready to share this feast with our mates, this was their offering to us and to Qutar for a safe journey and a speedy return. To be so very advanced the Kysharisk people were so steeped in traditions, maybe this is how they had remained the same people for so long. The meal was marvelous, Belle had also gathered some herbs to season the meat and some delicious berries for dessert. A meal fit for a King!!

"That is what you are, you are King and Queen, not only of future Qutar but of the Galaxy!! You would never place yourselves in this position, but in reality this is who you certainly are!" They were in agreement with each other.

"Thank you, for this wonderful meal, this most wonderful going away present, and for the very kind words and thoughts. We are simply tools in the hands of the All Father." Lererial was backing every word I said!

"This is why you were chosen for Sartaril even with all you have gained you both still feel humbled at the thought of being used in this role, we also are humbled to be chosen to serve by your side!!"

We finished the meal and teleported to the ship, "I was beginning to think we were going to have to send Ghost to retrieve you!" Maniacal laughter!

We all laughed, I asked, "Is everything ready to go?"

"We are awaiting the arrival of Patriarch and Monarch they have something to tell you and should be here any..."

"We are here, sorry for the delay, we were finishing business with the High Council and Earth"

"Earth?" I asked

"Earth has partitioned the High Council for a permanent Ovarunt emissary, this is a good thing, if a little early in the grand scheme of things. I said seeing that the Sartaril was part Human that the request might be considered."

"How did the council rule?"

"In favor of the Sartaril of course!"

"So Earth now has an Ovarunt representative, to help them and keep them apprised of Galactic events?"
