We were finally ready to head for home! The jumps go well and we are back on Qutar!! When we landed Ghost Angel, there is a whole crowd of people that are waiting for us. They want to know what we have accomplished this time, they are the historians, it will be this way every time we return. They want a fresh account of all that has happened, we give it to them and head for home. Mom, Dad and Kittmaw are there waiting for us, we have a quite but jubilant family reunion. The girls and their Kysharisk go home with Mom and Dad, Marsoon goes home with Kittmaw, he will regret that decision, Ha! We finally get to our home and I feel someone in the courtyard waiting for ....Dad!

"Dad there is someone out in the courtyard waiting for you!"

"Waiting for me?? Who would be waiting for me??" Jack looked puzzled but followed us out to the courtyard. Out of nowhere there was a flash of silver, it was moving so fast that nobody got a good glimpse of what it was. It was there again and then gone!

I had felt her in my mind, "Dad, it is your Kysharisk, she has been waiting for you!"

Waiting for me??? A Kysharisk?!?!?!! How can I meet a Kysharisk I'm too old!!"

We all laughed, Dad did not act old! "She wants you to catch her!!" I said.

"Catch her! How can an old man like me catch a Kysharisk?"

"Maybe you should ask her."

"OK! Miss Kysharisk would you please show yourself so that I might meet with you?"

There was rush of wind, suddenly there stood the most beautiful silver haired Kysharisk that any of us had ever seen! The silver said that she was an elder, but the movements said she was young for her cycles. " I am Sheraira, mate to Slug's father the former leader of the Kysharisk Clan Sole. My Mate Skysharea has gone to be with the spirits and I am lonely in this land and seek companionship! I heard the Sartaril had a father who also is lonely. At first I was only curious. Now that I have felt your essence I am drawn to you!"

"I am Jack Rusarico, father of the Sartaril, and I do also seek companionship. Especially with such a beautiful and noble companion as you." he bowed to her.

"HAHA! Jack your silver tongue matches your silver hair! You are a worthy companion and I accept your offer of companionship!"

"As I do yours!"

The beautiful silver Kysharisk stood in the courtyard, the fur was very long and flashing silver in the light of the moon. Jack moved forward and Sheraira bowed her head to his, Jack took her head in his hands and touched his nose to hers and they were linked in their minds. He mounted her back and they were gone in a flash. I was glad that Dad had found a Kysharisk companion, but this was a truly special companion! Sheraira had been the mate to a Kysharisk clan leader, she was very highly respected among the Kysharisk Hierarchy! She was Slug's Mother!!

Slug was proud that his mother had offered companionship to Jack. They both need each other. Little did we know what was in store for the two of them!!

Jack was having the time of his life, he couldn't remember when he had had so much fun or felt so young! His and Sheraira's minds had melded in ways that normally were not possible. Jack had fully entered Sheraira's mind as a mate, not as a guest! Sheraira had entered Jack's mind as a mate and she did not understand why!

When Jack and Sheraira came back to the courtyard, Slug and Bell came forward and bowed at there sides. I was intrigued by this action and asked them why they had done this. Slug responded, "Our leader is back, we are obliged to honor him!"

"What? Your leader?"

"Yes, Jack has taken the place of my Father in mind and body!"

How can this be? What is happening? Jack and Sheraira both agreed that this had happened when they linked minds. I contacted Dr. Gtrfk and asked if he could allow us to come by his lab. He agreed.....
