We're Just Friends

~Chapter 8~

We both got out of the car and I grabbed my bag. "Thanks for the ride." I heard Takashi say, it was kind of quiet but I could still hear it. "You're welcome." I had replied. I started walking towards the entrance of the school. I heard the sound of jogging to my right and I looked over to see Takashi. "Did I forget something in my car?" I asked, slightly confused. "No it's just is it okay I walk with you?" Takashi asked he started to look at the ground with was a little odd. "Sure it's whatever. And um, if you need a ride again just ask. Don't be afraid to, I don't really bite." I said to him. Then I got an idea, I took out my notebook and tore out a paper and wrote my number. "Here's my number, and text or call if it's really important," I said and gave a small smile. He took the paper and we entered school. "Do you remember where your classes are?" I know he's not my responsibility but I don't need to be a bitch and just leave him in this big ass school. "I just need help finding my first hour again," Takashi replied, looking down at the schedule he still had. "Alright, let's go to our lockers first then I'll show you." I started to walk towards my locker with Takashi following behind me. After a few hours, it was the end of the school day. "Got any plans today?" Rachel asked me as we headed towards our lockers. "Depends on the next question you're going to ask." I shot her a suspicious look. "Relax, I was wondering if you wanted to go over to my house and watch anime since plans popped up yesterday." Rachel said and gave me a chuckle. "Sounds like a plan to me," I replied and closed my locker. Throwing my bag over my shoulder Rachel closed her locker. "Are we taking my car?" I asked since sometimes Rachel does come to school with her car and other times she doesn't. "Yeah. I left my car at home today." Rachel replied. "Alright then, off to my car we go!" I cheered as we walked out. We reached my car and with an unlock of the doors we both got in. I started driving to Rachel's house when I heard, "Stop we have to go back!" Rachel announced. I pulled over to someone's driveway and made a U-turn. "What did you forget?" I questioned. "I'll explain in a bit just go slow." She replied looking out my window. I slowed down as I looked from my window to Rachel's window. "Stop!" Rachel exclaimed. I hit my breaks fast. "Roll down your window and do it fast." She said as I started rolling down my window. That's when I looked and saw Takashi. "Hey, Takashi! Over here!" Rachel said a little loud to get his attention. He looked over at us shyly, a blush crept across his face. I hit Rachel upside the head since she was so close and in my personal bubble.
