I sighed heavily after walking out of the principle's office. I fucked up, Takashi's mad at me and won't talk to me, I just got into a fight with someone that could possibly ruin the rest of my high school years, I got a week's worth of detention, and I'm not allowed to go to the dance. Lindsay almost got to go to the dance but also almost got me suspended. Basically Lindsay made up a sob story about me not only attacking her first but I had also been harassing her all school year. Eyewitnesses saved the day and gave me a slight victory by her not being able to go to the school dance. I think that's the best luck I had all week. I got to go back to class while Lindsay insisted she's getting picked up by her parents. Not much happened to me the rest of the day, tried to talk to Takashi but he acted like I was invisible. Letting out a frustrated sigh as I explained the whole situation to Rachel after school a cafe. "Are you okay after all that?" Rachel asked. "Honestly no, I screwed everything up and now I can't fix it," I replied and frowned. "Maybe you're not trying hard enough," Rachel replied. I gave her a bewildered look in response. "Jane, you're love life is a cliche so don't just half-ass the effort and be lazy about it. Go and fulfill a cliche and win your man back." Rachel said. The speech was a little bad but I got the point. "And how can I do that?" I asked. "I don't know him that well so you're on your own. Just think about what you " Rachel replied. "Rachel, how do you know if you like someone?" I asked, looking at the ground and feeling flustered. "Why? Do you like Takashi?" Rachel questioned. "Well, Takashi confessed his feelings for me and I have no idea if I return the feelings," I replied. Looking at Rachel's face you could see her think for a moment. "How do you feel when the two of you hang out?" Rachel asked. "I feel like whenever we hang out I'm never disappointed with what we do, I hate when I leave because I just don't want the night to end, and I like being around him because I can be myself. Takashi makes me happy and sometimes I feel like I'm a better person." I replied. Looking at Rachel's face I could see her smirking. "Jane my dear, you have a huge crush on Takashi. And I think you should go and get your man." Rachel said. "But what if he says no to me?" I asked. "Try not to think about that, go to his house, and confess. Just be careful, normally in this part of the movie something bad happens." Rachel replied. With a heavy sigh, I nodded and got up to go to my car. Once I got in my car I drove to Takashi's' house.
