Rachel sat back in her seat with a pouty face and crossed her arms. I sighed heavily and turned back to Takashi, who was just standing there awkwardly. "Do you need a ride kid?" I asked. I saw him think for a second then he nodded and walked towards my car. I rolled up my window and Takashi got in the car. I made another U-turn in someone else's driveway as Takashi buckled up. "So why are you out here?" I question as Rachel just waited for the answer since we were wondering the same thing. "Well I was at home and then Lindsay and Skylar got home. Skylar went to the bathroom and that's when she threatened me and kicked me out until she was gone." Takashi replied, I looked in the mirror and he was looking down. "That bitch," I mumbled and looked back at the road. "Well I'm glad we ran into you, we were going to watch anime and my house. And if you do stay Jane will take you home." Rachel said. I was going to protest but she shot me her usual look that means to shut up. "Are you sure?" Takashi asked, his voice was a little quiet but you could still hear him. "Yeah, what the hell. We could always use another person to hang out with. Rachel's starting to get on my last nerve." I asked and smiled as Rachel fake frowned. "Thanks for all this," Takashi said. "Look kid it's nothing, I'm glad that no one creepy picked you up," I said as I pulled into Rachel's driveway. As we started getting out I locked the car doors. Rachel went to her door and waited for us to get there. Once Takashi and I both reached her doorstep Rachel unlocked her door and walked inside. We walked in a line, Rachel in the front, me behind her, and Takashi in the back. I sat on the couch and looked up at Takashi, who was just standing near the couch awkwardly. "Takashi, you can sit down." Rachel said, walking into the kitchen. "Unless you want to stand for a few hours," I commented sarcastically. Takashi sat on the recliner that was the furthest from me. "Takashi, you know I don't bite, right?" I said, giving him an odd and questioning look. Did I do something strange? He just nodded, not looking me in the eyes but staring at the ground. "Then why not sit next to me? Do you not like me?" I questioned. "No...it's just...ummm...  sorry," Takashi said, looking up at me for a second then looking down. Once our eyes met I patted the spot next to me. Without saying a word he got up from the recliner and sat next to me. We sat in awkward silence for a minute or two before I decided to break it. "You know, you're kinda cute when you're being quiet," I said, looking at him. I saw the blush quickly rise to his cheeks as he attempted to talk. "I-I...y-you... th-thanks." Were the only words he managed to get out. I began to laugh as I patted him on the back. "Relax Takashi, I'm only joking. No need to get flustered and stuttering, we're only friends and getting to know each other after all." I said before Rachel walked into the room with popcorn. "Took you long enough," I commented, grabbing the remote and putting on Seven Deadly Sins.
