Her house, like I said, was modest. In the kitchen, I heard the rattling of her brother and the tray of cookies. "None for you, Spikey. Sowwy," he said. "Spike!", Jenny called out. He ran up to her and she gave him a bone and threw it out in the backyard. And of course, he went wild.

She offered me a seat next to Caleb and went to grab two glasses. She took the jug of cold, yellow citric liquid and poured it for Caleb and I.

She gave me plate and served me three cookies. I took a bite out of them.

And sweet baby Jesus...

Biting into the warm and soft treat was like running hands down her curves and kissing her all over. A desire I longed for.

...

What the hell was wrong with me? Making love to a girl? That wasn't like me. But...she was different.

She smiled as she pushed Caleb's head back in a motherly way and kissed his forehead.

She was perfect.

Point is,  girl can cook! "Homemade?", I asked. "Always," Caleb answered. Jenny smiled as she filled the dog bowl with food and let Spike feast.

"Could I have milk?", Caleb asked. She nodded and got him a glass of milk. He giggled when he sipped it and saw a milk mustache. Jenny gently rubbed nose with hers playfully and a little bit of milk got on her cheek when he sneaked a kiss. She gasped in surprise and laughed.

Suddenly, we could hear a car pull up out front. Her parents! I turned to Jenny and she looked like she saw a ghost.

"Hide in the pantry!", she said. She didn't even give me a chance to walk there myself. She shoved me in it and closed the door. "If my parents found out a boy was in this house, they'd kill me."

I heard Caleb take some dishes to the sink, what I think was my glass of lemonade.

The front door opened.
