I can't believe that just happened. I went upstairs and cried in the shower. I threw away my ripped clothes in the garbage outside so that my parents wouldn't see them. After I changed, I headed downstairs and started dinner.

By 7, my stepmother and father had come home and sat down to their meal. "How was your day, Lydi-

"Speak when you're spoken to, girl," she said as she opened up her dinner napkin and placed it across her lap. My father bit his lip in embarrassment and whispered "Thank you" as I placed his plate in front of him. I gave Caleb his plate and finally my own and sat down.

"Where is my Brandon?", my stepmother asked. I shrugged. "I think he's with his girlfriend," my dad said. "The hell he is," she said as she balled up her dinner napkin and threw it on the plate before she got up and marched to the kitchen.

She picked up the phone and suddenly the door opened. I tried to maintain my composure as I knew I had to sit down at the dinner table with that animal again. "It's ok, Mom. I'm here."

"Oh darling! Thank goodness!", she ran over and kissed his cheek. "Are you stupid?!," she barked at me. "You see that he's here? Go fix him a plate!", she said as she pointed to the kitchen. "A dog is smarter than you are! Even an idiot creature knows when a guest comes, you get excited and welcome them. Not sit down on their ass!"

I ignored her words and just simply said, "Yes Ma'am," as I set down the place setting and napkin, followed by his knife and fork, and then his dinner plate. As I reached over him and placed his plate in front of him, he put his hand on my mine and smiled that evil smile of his and coldly whispered, "Thank you, Stepsister." He then peaked at my cleavage and smirked and winked, and I removed my hand from his entrapment and sat down at my sear across from him.

After dinner, I just stayed upstairs and texted back and forth with Hunter. I loved the way he made me feel. I can't believe I ever fought with him. I told Serena what happened and she said that he was a true hero. I called him until 3 am and we talked about our goals, and I kid you not, everything he said was about him and I.

"We can get a beach house, and have like three kids, you know? Oh! and we can have a dog! What kind do you like? Labradoodle? Pug? Well whatever you want. And so, there we are, all 5 well 6 of us plus the dog and we're at the beach and I got you by my side and all our kids and it's just perfect, you know? No parents, no creepy siblings, except for our little ones Cindy and Caleb who are like bffs, right? And everything is just perfect! Isn't that perfect babe? You're perfect babe. You make my fantasy perfect. You are the stars. You are the galaxies and other worlds. Cuz you're just a celestial being, beyond my wildest wishes and dreams, one that even the Heavens are astonished by. Don't you dare compare yourself to anyone. No one is nowhere near your standard of beauty, inside and out."

I giggled and my heart melted at his fantasies and words. Damn, Cupid really hit me that hard with an arrow.

Good aim, though.
