"Where are the kids?", I wondered. "Oh," I saw that they were outside playing and I was relieved. I can't wait for tonight. I love our Friday night dinner dates.

It was 6:30. I had to get ready. I got out of the shower and curled my hair. I had my garter and thigh highs on, matching my bra, of course.

"Are you just gonna stand there gawking?", I asked Hunter as I felt his presence in the corner. He was leaning against the wall and he smirked.

"Can't help it," he said apologetically. I scoffed and giggled as he came up behind me and kissed my neck. He put his hands on my stomach. "I can't wait for us to have a baby," he said.

I smiled and knocked on the wooden dresser. "Hopefully," I said as I placed my hands on top of his.

He let me get dressed as he showered and I left the room when he came out of the shower.

I know I've lashed out at him at times. Especially when I found out it was hard for me to become pregnant. But, Hunter's patience is unmatched. Well, his patience with me.

I got the kids dressed and we left to go to dinner. But, we didn't pull up to a restaurant.

We were at a hotel.

"Stay here, hun. Don't come up until I call you. Come on kids," he said.

"What the hell?" I was so confused. What is this man doing?

I waited in the car for ten minutes like a jackass.

RING!!!

"Finally!"

I picked up the phone. "Hunter, I swear, what are you planning?"

I heard him chuckle. "Just follow the valet."

"Huh? AHH!" The valet tapped the window.

"Miss? By Mr. Woodrow's request, please follow us."

I hung up the phone. I do not even know what the hell this man was planning.

I followed them up the stairs to a room.

I am not ready to lose my virginity. What the fuck is this?

"Umm, where are the childre-

The valet opened the door and there was a white carpet rolled out, and at the end of it was Hunter. J began to tear up. Cindy was wearing a white dress, different than what I originally had her in before. She had a little white basket with rose petals.

And Caleb had on a little suit and he held a pillow with two rings as a design stitched on the pillow. Caleb gave me a bouquet and him and Cindy walked down the rug and Cindy threw the petals down on the ground.

I followed to see Hunter start to tear up as he got down on one knee.

"Oh my god, Hunter," I said as he opened the ring box. A beautiful diamond ring sparkled.

"Jennifer, you have brightened my life in the last two years in ways I could never imagine. You've been a big sister to Cindy, you didn't judge my tattoos or home life, and you are just the sweetest, kindest, and most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I know associating with me has hurt you in more ways I could never imagine. And I want to plunge a knife in my heart that all my problems were showered onto you. Almost losing you made me realize that I have to cherish you more than ever. I love you with all my heart. And I hope you can make me the happiest man in the world. Will you marry me?"

I cried out, "Yes!" I jumped in his arms and kissed him all over. Cindy and Caleb high fived each other as Hunter put the ring on my finger and he kissed me again. "We're getting married!", he shouted as he smiled.
