He looked so peaceful when he slept. He made little snoring sounds. But I learned that to stop your partner from snoring, just take their arm and wrap it around you and turn on your side, in a spooning position.

Worked like a charm.

He sighed and woke up. He kissed my ear and ran his hand down my waist and placed it on my hips. "You smell nice," he said groggily from his nap. "Thank you," I said. He let out a "Mmm" and nudged his nose in my hair.

He was so cute when he slept. I looked at my phone and it was 4:30! "Babe,"I nudged with my hand. "You gotta get up. You have to leave soon. It's 4:30." He moaned and rolled over. "I don't wanna go to work," he said.

"Now, now," I nudged as I rolled off the bed. "You gotta go before my parents come home too. Come on." I tried to push hin off the bed and rolled him over like a log, but he opened one eye and rolled back on top of me and kissed me.

"Why don't we just run away?", he asked. "Just take Caleb and Cindy and Spike and just go to Fuji or Tahiti." I smiled and pushed his hair back. "That would be a dream," I said. He kissed my neck and stood up.

He took off his shirt and all you could were his tattoos. They were blanketed over his body.

I ran my hands down his spine, highlighting the giant skull face staring back at me hauntingly

I ran my hands down his spine, highlighting the giant skull face staring back at me hauntingly. He straightened it while my hands ran down his back.

"Why the skull?", I asked. He looked back at me. "I'm don't fear death," he said. "I embrace it. I welcome it." I was horrified. "Why would you say such a thing!", I exclaimed.

"Aren't you afraid of dying?", he asked. "Of course I am!", I said. "Why? You're going to whether you like it or not. Why face it with fear?" I blinked. "What happens though? Do I just close my eyes and go to sleep forever? I don't want to close my eyes forever."

He cupped my cheeks and shushed my worrying. "You won't be asleep, my love," he said. "You'll be with me. And we'll watch our great-grandkids grow up from the Heavens, and watch their cello recitals and their basketball games from the clouds. Just the two of us," he said as he kissed my forehead.

What 18 year old guy says this to his girlfriend? He's just...sighhh *heart eyes*

"I don't want you to die," I said tearing up. "I'm afraid of you dying." He hugged me and pulled me close to his chest. "You don't have to be. For you, I'll always be careful. And you can live without me." I pulled away. "How dare you say that? I love you more!", I said.

He smiled and picked up my chin. "No babe. I love you more." I looked at him with the biggest saddest eyes and he kissed me. "If you were hurt or gone, I don't know what I'd do." He hugged me again and we shared a few seconds of silence.

He let out a sigh and I wiped my tears. I pulled away and watch him put on his work uniform. "What time will you be home?", I asked. "About 10," he said. "I'll call you during my break, babe."

I watched him rev his motorcycle and drive away to work. Spike barked as Caleb and I waved goodbye.

But, I suddenly saw a car pull up. It was Chris and a couple of other boys. They looked like they were from that rival gang. What were they doing with Chris?

I was shocked to see them. "Um..hey boys. Hunter just left for work. You just missed him," I said as I pointed my finger down the street.

Chris smirked. "We're not here for him, Duchess. We're here for something of his."

I blinked. "A switchblade? A pack of cigarettes?", I asked stuttering.

Chris smiled and slowly closed his eyes while shaking his head "No."

"What we want," one of the boys said, "Is standing right in front of us," he said looking up and down at me.

I backed away and I tripped and fell on the floor. They came closer and they shut the door behind them, locking it.

Chris took of his jacket and told one his goons, "Take the kid and that mutt and lock them in the closet." Caleb began to cry.

"Shut him up!", Chris shouted. I comforted him and said, "Caleb, it's ok. Just go and sit with Spike in the closet. Go take the iPad, Sweetheart. Sissy will handle this." He followed my orders and Chris locked the closet door from the outside.

I gulped. "Listen, I have nothing you want. Getting to Chris by getting to me isn't a wise decision. My parents will be home soon. So you need to leave."

"Oh, don't worry about ol' Mom and Pop. They're with that pervy brother of yours at dinner. I saw them at a diner while I passed through town. It's a shame they don't include you," Chris said as he flipped a switchblade and gently caressed it down my cheek. I gulped again. "I don't mind," I lied.

He smirked. "Don't worry, Duchess. You do what I say, you won't get hurt and we won't hurt you brother." I shook my head.

Please Hunter. Please please please come back home. Please God I hope he's forgotten something and has to come back home.
