"Please hold out your hand so I can place this device on your finger, it is to track your pulse. Put these glasses on, they are there so we can monitor the movement of your pupils. Finally, please put these on either side of your temples, they give us access to your brains function as we begin to question you." The man instructed as I just gave a nod of the head and obediently obliged.

"Please state your full name and age."

"Selene Hunter — twenty one years old."

"Country of birth?" he questioned.

"Germany"

"Any siblings?"

"Yes, two." I answered looking down at my hands as memories flooded my brain.

"What are your connections to Santiago Price and Elijah Castle?"

"A very old friend and an ex." I mumbled letting out a sigh.

"What is your connection to Alonso Argent?"

"I just met him two weeks ago, he's the one who recruited me here." I answered as my eyes searched the ground.

"What forms of martial arts are you familiar with?"

"Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Kali, Kung fu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Karate." I answered this time lifting my gaze to meet his; a look of disbelief plastered onto his face before he set his eyes back onto the screen in front of him.

"What was your occupation prior to coming here?"

"Why is that relevant?" I asked suddenly cautious in picking my next words.

"Just answer the question Ms. Hunter." he ordered.

"I participated in underground fights. That's how I earned money after moving to Florida." I confessed looking back down at the floor ashamed of my past.

It wasn't easy being in Florida all by myself, I was alone. I didn't have any friends or any family nearby, so I did the only thing I had been doing my whole life — fight. I guess I could have applied to a more traditional job, but my living expenses were far too much to live under a minimum wage job or off of tips. I admit that having a full scholarship was very helpful, but that only covered my education, not my life habits. When I graduated high school I told myself that I would go do all of the things I had missed out on, like partying or having a social life of more than just one friend. I owed it to myself after everything, so that's what I did. I made sure my grades were always squeaky clean and when the sky turned dark and the stars shined under the moonlight I would be out hanging with my friends or in one of the many fights I had grown accustomed to participating in. I was never proud of how I earned a living, but it paid for the nice condo I had and everything else that I had learned to give myself; compensation for years of tormenting myself.

"How long did you participate in underground fights?"

"Ever since I've been in Florida" I said still staring at the ground.
