Nikki's POV

After the fight I was announced as the winner again and everyone cheered but I just didnt feel it. My body felt drained but not becuase of the fight but because of what my mom had told me 3 days ago.

I started walking to my bike when all of a sudden I felt the urge to run, so I did exactly that, I dropped everything and ran. I ran faster then I had ever run before. I ran until I came to a clearing in the woods, suddenly I dropped to my knees and I started hearing things crack.
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" I started screaming, the pain becoming more and more unbearable. I just lay there on the ground sore, numb, motionless and shocked. I don't know what's happening to me but my moms words popped into my head
"The reason you have been having these dreams is because your wolf has been awoken and you are about to shift,"
And then it hit me like a bag of bricks, I...I was shifting. A wave of nerves just went through me, I was shifting, I couldn't believe it. Just then another scream erupted through my body.
"Auuuhhhrrhhg." This is all I can hear, the cracking of my bones and my screams of pain.

****** About an hour later

I looked around and then down. I almost did a double take when I no longer saw my hands but in its place paws.
My senses are now heightened. I can hear better then before, smell things I've never smelt before, see further then before and I could feel the ground shaking a little. Just then I heard a twig snap, I snapped my head in that direction and then I saw it, a wolf. He stepped closer and I growled but this growl sounds different it was low, husky and seductive, the wolf kept on walking towards me. He now stood in front of me, I could now see all the wolfs features. His wolf was just a bit bigger then mine, he had piercing blue eyes, charcoal black fur and on his back there was a line of white fur. My wolf growled again and then barked out the word
'Mate'
Everything went black all of a sudden

I woke up in bed but not my bed. I start looking around frantically when someone opens the door. I just looked at him with a shocked expression because I was in his room and he was shirtless. My inner wolf growled the word I least expected out loud
'Mate'
When I said that he looked at me and smirked, of all things he smirked. Everything from last night came rushing back and I began to panic, I turned to him and said
"I need to go home, my mom will be worried that I never came home last night." At the mention of these words, his smirk drops.
"About that, you've been past out for a week but don't worry I phoned your mom and told her what happened and she said she understood." As he said this I froze, I've been here for a week.
"I've been here for a... a week, and you went through my phone." My voice sounded shocked then turned angry. How could he go through my phone.
"Yes you've been here for a week, and no I didn't go through your phone, your mom is in the pack." His voice remained soft.
"My mom is in the pack, since when?" I asked even more confused
"She came to us and told us her situation when you started having the dreams." He said his voice still soft, it's like if he gets angry and raises his voice I will run. I can't believe my moms in their pack that means Rosely and I are in the pack, it felt different but... warm.
