Nikki's POV
The meeting was now finished an we were all allowed to leave so Ryder and I went to our room, packed our bags and left.

Its been a few days since we got back from the Alphas and Lunas meeting. Everything was ok when we got back but both Ryder and I had to catch up on paper work for the pack.
We're sitting is his office when Finn - the pack warrior - mind-links us
"Alpha, Luna there is another Alpha here that wants to speak to you guys and Doctor Winters, he says its urgent. I have already informed Doctor Winters about this, she said she will meet you at your office." Just as he finished there was a knock on the door.
"Come in" Ryder uses his Alpha tone, which is actually really sexy. My mom walks in and takes a seat but before she can say anything Finn walks in and behind him is the other Alpha I presume.
"This is Alpha Winters from the Jungle Moon pack." As Finn said this a man steped infront of him and immediately my mom and I froze. After about a minute of silence Finn finally left the room and closed the door behind him. I just stared at him while he just stared at my mom and my mom just stared at him.
"Matthew?" My mom finally spoke up. She look ecstatic but a bit nervous at the same time.
"Jade." My dad said, almost as if he was confirming her unasked question
"What are you doing here, I'm happy you're here but why and how?" Its like Ryder and I aren't in the same room as them, I feel him grab my hand to hold it, when I look at him he just sends me a warm smile.
"Im here because I saw Nikki at the Alphas and Lunas meeting and I came to take you and Rosely back with me. I want to take Nikki as well but that will never happen seeing as she found her mate." My mom looks so happy for a second but then her face just turns into one of horror
"No, we are not coming back there. I like my life here, I don't get abused whenever my mate is away on business and people actually believe me when I tell them something." I'm so proud of my mom for sticking up for herself like that.
"I know and I'm sorry I didnt believe you, but he is gone. When William came to tell me that what you were saying was true I killed him. Its safe now, please come back with me." He sounds so desperate. When I look at my mom again I can see that she is in deep thought but I don't know why. The threat is gone and my dad never did anything to physically harm her, so I don't know why she didn't just scream the word yes.
"Ok, I'll come back with you." The second she said that he was by her side and she was in his arms, they finally turned to us.

"Baby" He said to me and completely ignored Ryder
"Daddy!" I ran towards him and engulfed him in a hug
"I missed you" he said while hugging me back
"I missed you too"
