Chapter 27

Nikki's POV

We finally arrived at the hotel, after a 10 hour plane ride. I can't believe the size of the hotel, it looks like a castle. I'm not suprised though because this place was made for werewolfs, well more specifically for Alphas and Lunas. Our first event is tonight, I'm a bit nervous for it though because i have no idea what's going to happen. I also have no idea what I'm going to wear because I wasn't allowed to pack my own bag.

We have about an hour left to get ready and i still have no idea what I'm wearing all I know is the colour scheme is black, so I've matched my makeup to the colour scheme. Im not wearing as much makeup as most people would, just a little bit of eyeshadow and lip gloss. Im waiting for Ryder to bring my dress, seeing as he is the only one who knows what I am wearing. Suddenly the door opens and in walks my handsome mate with a long, black off the shoulder dress.(Picture at the top)
"Here you go." He says handing me the dress. I head to the bathroom to get dressed, I can't believe how amazing this dress looks. I walk out of the bathroom but I can't see Ryder I can smell him in the room still so he is proberly in the closet. I sit on the bed and put my highheels on, the are black stilettos. I check the time and I'm shocked that we are late, like really late.
"Ryder!" He needs to hurry up I don't want to be even more late. He walks out of the closets and stops dead in his tracks, he's just staring at me his ocean blue eyes turning an almost black colour.
"Whats wrong? Is it the dress? Must i change it quickly?" I really hope nothings wrong with my dress because I absolutely love it.
"No, nothings wrong with the dress. You just look absolutely... stunning." His eyes turning almost a black colour. I have no idea what to do or say in this... situation, so I'm going to say what I think if right.
"Um, thank you, you dont look too bad yourself. We need to go, we are almost an hour late." When I say this it seems to snap him out of his... state.
We make our way to the room, which didn't take as long as I thought it would.

This room looks like a gigantic ballroom, there are fancy chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, around the room near the walls are buffet like tables with name tags- indicating where we all have to sit and there are waiters walking around serving all the Alphas and Lunas. Ryder has introduced me to some of the Alphas and Lunas that we have an alliance with, they all seem friendly. The night continued and I got a few congratulation because I'm showing a bit. Ryder and i had to go onto the mini platform that they had set up and address everyone, which i had not know about at all. We spoke about wars between certain packs, rouges, territory and other things similar to that. Thoughout the whole night I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching me and Ryder sensed it to because he wouldn't leave me alone the whole night.
