Sooo... I've been thinking. I want to take this story to the next level, and actually flush it out a bit. I want to keep a couple chapters in this book as a sort of advertisement, but what do you guys think about me making this it's own story? Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Also I picked this song since it kinda reminded me of  Apollo's whole situation... Give it a listen if you want!

(PS: Sorry the intro's so long but I also wanted to let you guys know that I didn't proofread this before publishing, so sorry if there's any mistakes!)

"My dad's at camp."

The words were still ringing in your ears. Will Solace is the son of Apollo. Why would Apollo be at camp? And why would that require your help?

"Uh, okay, but..."

"Look, I know it's confusing, but I just need you to help me. It'll make more sense once you see him." Will looked at his shoes for a minute. "At least, I think it'll make more sense."

Left with no choice, you let Will lead you to the Apollo cabin. Inside was a teenage-looking boy. He had curly brown hair and light skin. He was wearing a Led Zepplin t-shirt. He looked pretty beaten up, with scratches over his body and dirt and blood splattering his features.

"Who's this? He looks pretty bad, but I've never seen him before. Is he a new demigod?" You asked, but Will shook his head.

"No... According to Meg McCafferey, this is my dad, Apollo."

As if he could hear his name in his sleep, Apollo began to stir. His eyes fluttered open, as he took in the scenery around him. He sat up a little,  though he struggled. His eyes landed on a few flowers that sat peacefully along the windowsill.

"Those flowers..." His voice was hoarse. "Those are from Delos, my sacred island."

"Yep. They only grow in and around Cabin Seven-your cabin. Do you know who I am?"

Apollo's gaze moved from the flowers to Will. It took a moment, as if he were searching his brain for an answer. You watched the two interact, stunned.

"You're Will Solace," He said finally. "My, ah... erm-"

"Yeah. It's awkward."

Suddenly, Apollo fell sideways. Will quickly grabbed and steadied him. "Whoa, there. I tried to heal you," Will explained, "but honestly, I don't understand what's wrong. You've got blood, not ichor. You're recovering quickly from your injuries, but your vital signs are completely human."

"Don't remind me."

"Yeah well..." You watched in silence as Will put his hand on Apollo's forehead. He frowned in concentration. Looking closer, his fingers were trembling. Will was worried, which was never a good sign. "I didn't know any of that until I tried to give you nectar. Your lips started steaming. I almost killed you."

"Ah... I guess Meg forgot to tell you about my condition."

"I guess she did." Will grabbed his dad's wrist, you assumed to check his pulse. "You seem to be about my age, fifteen or so. Your heart rate is back to normal. Ribs are mending. Nose is swollen, but not broken."

The two went back and forth for a few minutes, before Apollo turned his attention to you. You felt a slight pang in your heart. You weren't one to swoon over good looking men, but you had to admit, even if Apollo was Lester now, he didn't look all that bad. Plus, it was strange to feel the full attention of an (ex-)god on you. You did your best to smile and give a small wave.

"Sorry if I'm intruding- uh, my name's Y/n."

Apollo looked at you for a moment, eyes wide. "Y/n?"

Will's expression turned to one of concern. "Apollo, do you know-"

Suddenly, the cabin door opened and two demigods stepped inside. You recognized them as Will's siblings.

"Austin and Kayla, isn't it?" Apollo asked. His focus was off of you, now focusing more on his... children.

"So it's really you." Kayla said. Though, she didn't seem all that enthused that her father was paying her a visit. It was more nervous than anything. But you understood where she was coming from.

"Meg told us ou were beaten up by a couple of thugs. She said you had no powers and you went hysterical out in the woods." Austin frowned.

"Meg talks too much." Apollo said with a slight pout.

"But you're mortal?" Kayla asked. "As in completely mortal? Does that mean I'm going to lose my archery skills? I can't even qualify for the Olympics until I'm sixteen!"

Austin's mood dropped completely, taking in Kayla's comment. "And if I lose my music... No, man, that's wrong. My last video got, like, five hundred thousand views in a week. What am I supposed to do?"

Your eyes flicked between the two. This couldn't seriously be what they were worried about, right? You knew children of Apollo could be... well, different, but you didn't expect them to be this ridiculous. You zoned out as they continued talking, thinking about the expression on Apollo's face when you told him your name. Why did he look so surprised? Did he know you? You pondered in silence, not noticing that Kayla and Austin had left and Will was trying to get Apollo to his feet. What broke your concentration was when Apollo fell on the ground.

"Oh, Hades!" You quickly sprung in to help. You grabbed one of Apollo's arms and, with the help of Will, got him to his feet. You and Will exhanged glances. His face said something like, I know he's heavy but please don't say anything. Though you could've misinterpreted. Together, you two lugged the teenage god out to the "famous" Meg McCafferey.

Hope you guys enjoyed that! Let me know what you think about making this into a full blown story. I think it would be fun, tbh, I just gotta make sure I stick to it.

Anywho, hopefully quarantine's going okay for you guys. What have you been doing to keep busy? I've been playing the new Animal Crossing, and it's hecka fun.
