(Y/n)'s POV

"Magical wizard!" Luz cries out, causing me and King to flinch.

"Weird old man in jim jams," King grumbles over my shoulder.

"I was in studies, reading the stars. Who might you be, with eyes full of curiosity?" The wizard said before walking up to us. "Young lady, dareth I say, I scene something, unique about you."

Ok, would it be alright to punch this dude. Because the aura he is setting off is causing the alarms in my head to blare, wanting me to punch him in the face.

"Won't you join me for tea?" The wizard asks as he magic up three chairs and sat on one of them.

"Are you feeling what I'm feeling?" I whisper to King, who was leaning on my shoulder with the same suspicious expression.

"Yeah, I think I believe so." King said in a low whisper.

"Ok!" Luz says in her happy tone. I panickingly grabbed Luz's hand to stop her.

"Luz, let's get out of here. We just came here to drop off a package." I said as I gazed at the wizard with suspicion.

"Yeah, wizards are just old people with glitter in their pockets." King adds as he crawled over to my other shoulder to talk to Luz. "I don't trust him."

"But the stars in his robe are sparkling. And look! He has a baby fox in his beard!" Lux gushes as I looked to see a very small fox giggling in the wizard's beard.

"I don't know about this Luz, I'm getting a bad vibe from him." I said as my eyes never left the wizard in question.

"Wait, are those scones?! Give me!" King yells as he jumps off my shoulder and onto the table, munching on scones. Traitor.

"Come (Y/n), it's fine. We'll just have some tea and we'll be out in a split." Luz says with a small smile.

My eyes gazed into hers for awhile until her eyes began to waver into a puppy eyed expression. Oh no....... "Fine. Just for a minute." I sighed out.

Luz gasped happily before glomping me into a hug. I lightly laughed as she nuzzled my neck.

"Thank you!" Luz says before letting go and leading me to a chair and sitting in the other one.

I picked up a cup and took a sip of the tea, huh, honey lemon. I then looked to my left to see various kinds potions on a table behind Luz. "Do you sell potions as well mr wizard?" I asked the wizard.

"Please, call me Adegast. And, yes, I do run a small business." Adegast answers before King piped up.

"You should start a small business of, more scones! Into my mouth! Haha! Yes!" Wow, nice zing King.

"Come here you rascal," I said as I picked him up and started to lightly scratch his stomach. He shrieked before falling into soft laughter while I listen to the conversation of Luz and Adegast.

"I'm surprised to see you here. It was of my understanding, Eda delivered the packages herself." Adegast questions our arrival.

"Well, me and (Y/n) are sort of her appearances," Luz answers with a smile.

"Oh, how are you two finding the experience so far?" Adegast questions as he leans his cheek on his curled fingers.

I watched as Luz smile then slowly shrank down into a somber expression before sighing. "Can I be honest, mister Adegast? When I decided to stay in this magical world, I thought I was meant for something special. But Eda thought that I was meant for chores, and I'm afraid that I came to the wrong place."
