Chapter 4- Beginning of the end

I woke up and started to get ready for the day. It was the weekend, so I had no school. I walked over to the kitchen and got the cereal and the milk out. As I was getting my breakfast ready I turned on the tv. The first thing that came on was the news. Luca was all over it.

"Last night, Tony Stark took an 'Inhuman' as a hostage for safekeeping. Stark claims that if he had left him out in the city, terrible damage could have been done. The strange man has fire powers and claims that he has a purpose on this earth but hasn't met it yet," the news anchor said.

"I dropped my spoon in my bowl and ran straight to my room. I put on my suit and teleported to the front of Stark tower. I looked up the tall tower and knew what I had to do. I didn't care if it wasn't what E.P.I.C. wanted. I was going to save my best friend. I teleported inside an empty room and began looking around. "Where is he?" I quietly mumbled.

"Ok, who the hell is she?!"

I turned around to see Tony Stark pointing at me.

"Tell me what you did to him," I demanded.

"Oh hell Nah! There's no way... wait!"

I soon realized he wasn't talking about Luca, but me...

"You're inhuman too, aren't you?!" Tony said amazed. "Where are you guys coming from?!"

"First of all, we're not objects. For all, we know you could be inhuman. Now tell me where you put him."

"That kid is dangerous. Why would we give him to you?"

"Because I'm not like any other inhuman. I can control the stones."

"Excuse me? What 'stones?'"

I put my hand in front of his face and tricked his mind into thinking that I was his friend.

"Now what was it you wanted?" He asked.

"Bring me to Luca," I replied.

"Of course! He's just this way!" Tony led me to a room with a glass box. Luca was in the box with some sort of metal bracelet on his hands.

I heard the door behind me open, and in came Rhodey and Vision. "Tony, what is she doing here?!" Rhodey yelled.

"She uh... actually I don't know. Who let you in?"

"Huh. Tony, you're smarter than I thought. Most people don't snap out for a day or even two. I'll fill you in. I, an inhuman, took control of your mind. I had you lead me to Luca, and here we are now. So if you don't mind, I would like to take my friend back."

A red flare came out of my hands and it went all the way to the box Luca was in. The flare wrapped around the glass like a snake until you couldn't see the box at all. I dropped my hand to see the glass turn into water so he could get out. As for his bracelets, I turned those into bubbles.

"H-how did you just do that?"

"Because she's one of the most powerful Inhumans in the world. She has control of all the stones. Maybe even stronger than Quake." Luca said rubbing his hands from the bubbles.

"Sir, Quake was stated as being one of the most dangerous Inhumans in the world. If she is an enemy threat and is stronger than her, the world could be in great danger... " Vision said to Tony.

"Stronger than Wanda?"

"Sir... I can't believe I'm about to say this... but yes. I think she is."

I looked at Luca and he looked at me. We both knew we had to fight our way out.

Tony and Rhody's suits came flying into the room. As they were getting into their suits, Vision kept us away from them. He did everything he could to keep me away, but every beam he shot at me I turned to bubbles. He was about to walk through me, but before he could I manipulated his mind. "Sleep..." I whispered in his ear. Vision slowly fell down as the other two finished putting on their suits. They looked at me in bewilderment before they finally snapped back.

"You take Rhodey. I got Stark," I quietly said to Luca. Luca started running up to Rhodey as I teleported behind Stark. I thought this would be a fun fight, so I didn't trick his mind... yet...

 I used my extreme strength to throw him across the room. I must have broken something in his suit since he wasn't getting up. Eventually, he stood up. Every punch he threw. Every bullet he shot. Everything was obliterated in my hands. 

I looked over to see how Luca was doing and saw him absolutely beating Rhodey up. Rhodey's suit was almost destroyed, and Stark's suit had some technical difficulty. I walked over to Luca and teleported the both of us out of the tower. We went inside an alley and talked there. 

"Y/n the whole mission could be jeopardized now! They're never going to trust you after that."

"Luca. They would have done terrible things to you. Experiments on you! You are my one and only best friend. I would never let that happen no matter what the circumstances are!"

"Thank you... I never would have gotten out of there without you!"

"That's what friends are for, right? Well... I should probably get back. It's already morning! And you! Don't get caught this time!" I said with a soft laugh. Luca laughed with me then left. As soon as he was out of sight, I teleported to the top of my apartment. I sat on the ledge gazing at the beautiful sunrise when I felt a hand rest on my shoulder. I turned around quickly in defense mode only to see Spider-man behind me. "Peter... you scared the hell out of me there! Don't do that!" I said with a smile on my face. He laughed a little and sat down with me. "The view is beautiful..." I said keeping my eyes on the sun.

"It is isn't it..." He said, except his eyes weren't on the sun... but on me. I turned to see his masked face. Even under his mask, I could tell he was blushing. HARD. "You're so adorable!" I said playfully pushing his face forward.

"Wait... do you see that?!" I asked Peter. 

"All I see is you."

"Peter, I'm serious! Look at that!" 

We looked past the sun and saw some weird spaceship. It was almost like a floating doughnut in the sky...
