Rendog

  (I have some old 2015 Kingdomcraft references to connect Hermits together.)

Rendog joined Hermitcraft with Iskall in Hermitcraft season 4. They had history together in kingdomcraft a few years before Hermitcraft. Since some of the hermits couldn't join Hermitcraft in season 1-3. Most of the builders instead joined a different group that went to a place where they built kingdoms. But Kingdomcraft is a different story that took place in a different world.

Rendog grew up as an orphan like Grian, but he had a family. His family was a pack of wolves which took care of him. How he got there? He was left abandoned as a toddler helpless in the forest. It was the same forest that Iskall crossed. The wolves tend to drag him around and fed him raw food, like raw beef and porkchops. As he grew he realized how abnormal he is once he saw Iskall. He barely wear proper cloths, he was shirtless but at least he is wearing some sort of pants. He was also wearing his mother's head as a fur coat. (He's similar to Inosuke from Demon Slayer.) He watched over Iskall until he left the forest. Ren wondered what was beyond the forest, but he never dared to venture out there due to how vulnerable he is. Many more travelers wondered into his forest, one of them was False. Ren continued to watch them from a far.

As he grew, he grew smarter. He was 13 yet he was a fine hunter, he learned the basics of chopping wood, crafting, and even mining. He realized how better food was when cooked. Despite that he was still afraid of leaving his home forest. But he wanted to explore, he got the courage to leave the forest to the village where he saw Iskall left. Soon after he set foot he became lost when he stumbled into a Jungle. He was scared he wasn't as strong or brave like Iskall, but living with wolves all his life his senses were enhanced.

One day at night, he was dodging skeletons shooting him in the dark. He was trying to get to his cave where he lived. Several zombies chased him, he barely survived. Then he senses something different in the darkness, a green shadow appears. It was a humanoid creeper, it was Doc. Before Ren could escape he passed out. Young Doc killed all the mobs and almost mistakes Ren as a literal wolf. The curious Doc as he is, took Ren hostage at his home. Ren awakens in a cage, while Doc stared at him with his dark eyes. Doc was much more sane back then before doing his lab experiments and getting severely wounded causing him to loose an eye and an arm.

Doc teased him like a dog, due to Ren's lack of speech he couldn't really communicate well with Doc other than making sudden noises. Doc realized how helpless he is, so he released him, took off Ren's wolf hat and gave him proper cloths. He called the duo, Etho and Beef to help him teach some basic language and manners to Ren, because he doesn't know or want to take care of him alone. So they came over and honestly did random stuff with Ren. Doc and Beef was much older than Ren. Etho was closed to his age. Ren smiled and attempted to make conversation with Doc. Soon enough they talked everyday with Ren still stumbling with his words.

Ren sadly didn't stay with Doc. Ren stayed only about a few months until an incident happened. One day Doc came back and tried to kill Ren. Ren senses Doc's sudden rage and fled to the bottom of his base, his lab. There were bodies, especially a ton of mob heads and failed experiments. What Ren doesn't know is Doc is an early Redstoner, so he triggered one of Doc's alarms alerting him that he was in his lab. Ren froze, but he wasn't scared. Doc confronted him in his lab, he wasn't himself, there was something injected in his arm. They fought, Ren managed to pull the syringe off of Doc then soon enough Doc began to pass out. "Goodbye, Doc." Ren said before he closed his eyes. Ren was grateful for everything Doc did to help him, he was sad leaving him, but he needed to leave anyway. The next time Ren meets Doc again was in season 4.

Ren didn't care about finding the village this time. Thanks to Doc and his friend's teachings. He manage to talk to any travelers he came across. Ren wanted to start building, he began building wondrous things with the wood he chopped down. Eventually he did came across some villages who found Ren as an odd fellow due to his behavior. Living with a mad doctor for a few months took a toll in him.

After a few years of building amazing builds, soon travelers took note of his work. Future hermits Cubfan and False compliments his work. Soon enough he was invited into kindomcraft. Some officials sent him a letter to some coordinates that lead him to someone's base, Iskall's base of doom. Turns out he did wondered into the village Iskall was seeking all those years ago.

Iskall came down and stopped midway down the stairs. He got some messages from Stress about his arrival to kingdomcraft. Then he stared at Ren bewildered. Despite Ren not having his wolf head, he oddly recognized him.

He blurted "Aren't you that wolf boy I saw in the forest when I was younger." Ren froze and became awkward. "Well uhhh."

"Don't worry, I don't bite." Iskall chuckles as he packed a few stuff for his trip. "So what brings you here?" He smiled at Ren

"Well....I um received uhh.... a message with coordinates that lead me here." Ren stumbled in his words. Iskall gasped and got excited when he sees the letter.

Soon enough Iskall and Ren came along with Python to kindomcraft. They had so much fun building stuff and went through many adventures together. I mean if it wasn't for Iskall, he would be nothing more than a scared pup. Then he found out Iskall and several other kingdomcraft members were invited to Hermitcraft thanks to Mumbo suggestions to Xisuma.

Ren actually felt sad and betrayed that Iskall is leaving him behind on Kingdomcraft. "But what about poor Ren diggity dog?" Ren whined up to Iskall. Iskall did his signature laugh and presented his invite to Ren.

Soon enough Rendog and Iskall lived happily ever after in Hermitcraft together. Well until tragic fanfictions happen lol.
