Old Friends Reunite

"Don't bet you will win just because you seem powerful in this world. Izuku Midoriya, you know how powerful Shigaraki is, and we are his best trained." Hawks says with the biggest smirk.

A/N: now quick note I'm probably really terrible at writing fight scenes so just bear with it. And of course I don't have the skill or motivation to actually animate anything.

—Warning, swearing and mention to blood, later in chapter—

Narrator POV (time for cringe)
Hawks is the first to immediately fly at them and throw his feathers at them. Dabi uses his fire to burn all the feathers and Hawks says, "Great, my weakness is fire, Overhaul take out the fire users."

"Got it" Overhaul says as he uses the sand to create a sandstorm and sends it towards them.

"Hold on don't forget about me!" Toga says as she throws some knives into the sandstorm and the knives start spinning in the sandstorm as it goes into a look of a tornado.

"Shoto! Use your ice to slow that thing down!" Dabi says. Shoto nods and does exactly that, sending ice towards the tornado to try to slow it down.

Midoriya is holding onto Shoto in fear as he knows these three are after him. (A/N: cause we need progress on their relationship already) Shoto feels a small blush appear on his face but he won't it let it distract him, he needs to protect everyone anyway, not just Midoriya.

He snaps out of the little daze he was in and uses one arm to pick up Midoriya the best he can so he can move away from where the tornado seems to be going towards.

Just as fast as a bullet (A/N: I was so tempted to type as fast as a quick attack from haikyuu) Hawks flew behind the two without them suspecting it and he grabs the arm that Midoriya is holding his trident with.

Midoriya makes a noise of surprise and tries getting Hawks to let go. Todoroki has of course noticed by now and stops making ice to use his other arm to hold onto Midoriya.

Toya has noticed Hawks fly over but he has to take care of burning the flying knives Toga is throwing. "Endeavor! Help them already!" Dabi yells out. Endeavor nods as he shoots fire barely missing Todoroki and Midoriya.

"Sheesh" Hawks says as he flys away a bit to not get his wings burnt. Endeavor goes over to the two teens and keeps shooting fire at Hawks to keep him away.

While this is happening Toga has also snuck up and uses her knives to stab both Todorokis arms in hope he lets go of Midoriya. Todoroki winces and unfortunately he let go of Midoriya for a moment.

Toga uses this moment to snatch Midoriya spinning him towards her. "Hahaha! I'm the one that caught you Izuku~! Now now turn into your mermaid self and let's go see mr. Shiggy!" Midoriya is paralyzed in fear and doesn't know what to do.

Overhaul glances over at Toga and sighs of relief. He stands up and doing so he stops making the tornado bigger. Toya uses this as his chance to at least go at Overhaul and shoots his fire at him which Overhaul easily dodges.

While the fight between Overhaul and Toya progresses Todoroki now has to get Midoriya back.

"No no no you can't be stopping us any longer." Toga says as she uses a free hand to throw more knives at Todoroki which all of them hit his limbs. Todoroki falls to the ground and is now helpless now that he can't move his arms or legs without them being in pain.
