BARRY ALLEN was starting to get worried. He had just swept Caitlin off her feet away from Grodd, the giant telepathic gorilla, in the drawn-out circle on the concrete and Cisco and Harry opened the breach to draw Grodd in and send him to Gorilla City, only for Grodd to fight against the breach

"Full power," Harry said to Cisco who was controlling the breach.

Cisco looked startled, "It is," he explained.

And so he sucker-punched the gorilla as he was advised to, but it still wasn't enough. Grodd was persistent and even after the punch, he was scrambling to get out of the breach and holding on for dear life.

So Barry thought on hand and raced off to a familiar address, grabbed a certain person, and rushed back to the breach quickly where Grodd was roaring and still holding on.

"Barry? What the hell!" Lucy cried out. She had just taken a nice, relaxing bath so all she was wearing was a tank top and some pajama shorts with her red, flaming hair in a messy top bun in preparation for bed.

Barry blushed and ignored her question, pointing the gorilla, "Blast him into that breach!"

That's when Lucy noticed the gigantic gorilla that was holding onto this blue pulsing 'breach' portal.

"What?" Lucy asked. This was all too sudden. One moment she was picking out a book to read, something she hadn't gotten the pleasure of in a long time, and the next moment she's suddenly shivering in the night air while a giant Gorilla is roaring.

"Blast it!" Barry, Caitlin, and Cisco yelled at her.

Lucy put her hands up in surrender, "Okay! Okay!," She readied her hands and was about to shoot a blast towards the raging gorilla, but then she turned back to Barry's team while Grodd was still struggling to get back onto the solid ground.

"This is animal abuse! I can't do this, he looks like he's in pain!" Lucy explained.

Cisco threw his hands up, "Oh my god! He's a telepathic gorilla that's tried to kill all of us at least once! Blast that monkey!"

"Alright!" Lucy yelled. She readied her hands again and shot a blast of air towards Grodd and it hit him right in the stomach, making him lose his grip on the breach for just a second. But in that second, the pull from the breach was too much and Grodd slipped through the breach and to Gorilla City. As soon as the Gorilla was gone and not to be seen, Cisco pressed a few buttons and the breach was then closed. Grodd was now one of many of his kind in Gorilla City on Earth-2.

Then Harry clapped and started walking away, "Okay, that's a wrap, guys." Harry looked back at Lucy and Caitlin, "And ladies,"

Lucy looked around and watched Caitlin start packing up and Cisco giving Barry a thumbs up before helping Caitlin?

Then as Lucy was watching Caitlin and Cisco, Barry walked over and tapped her on the shoulder, "Hey,"

Lucy sent a small wave back before crossing her arms over her chest, "Hey back,"

"That was really thoughtful of you back there. You know, with the whole not wanting to hurt Grodd and all. And also, I just, uh, wanted to like, um, apologize, and I guess, thank you? For-for helping so many times and being available and I guess now I owe you so many favors-" Barry said,

Lucy nodded, "Yeah, I didn't really know about the whole telepathy and gigantic thing was possible for a gorilla in the first place, but I really love animals,"

"Me too," Barry grinned, "It's actually kinda weird that he didn't try to get into your mind,"

"Right, I guess that's the telepathy part?" She asked. What both of them couldn't see was Caitlin and Cisco rolling their eyes in the distance before leaving.

Barry nodded, "Yeah, I guess he was too focused on trying to get out of the suction of the breach,"

"And where did that lead?" Lucy asked, "I literally pushed a gigantic, telepathic Gorilla through a portal and I don't know where he went,"

"Well, there's this place on Earth-2 that has a bunch of Gorilla's just like him and-" Barry started explaining.

"Wait," Lucy stopped Barry, "Hold on, Earth-2?"

Barry facepalmed, "Right, I forgot to explain that to you and I just haven't gotten the time-"

Lucy smiled at Barry, "Dinner," She stated, stopping his rambling.

Barry stopped to look at her, "What?"

Lucy blushed, 'I'm-I'm always happy to help, but if-if you think you, uh, owe me. Why don't do buy me some dinner sometime, that way you can explain the whole Earth-2 thing to me,"

There was a length of silence as Lucy waited for Barry's response but he was speechless.

Now it was Lucy's turn to stammer over her words, "That is - if you're comfortable with that!" She kinda shouted in his face, her own very red, "You-you don't have to if you don't want to, but uh, I just thought-"

"Yes!" Barry replied before they could dance around any further, "I-I would love to go to dinner with you, er, buy you dinner."

A smile returned to Lucy's face, "Great! So uh, like Friday? You-you can pick the place,"

"Are the kids coming?" Barry

Lucy's smile went away again, "Oh, I was planning on getting Genevieve to hold down the fort, but sure. They can come too," She trailed off and rubbed her bare arm with her hand.

"They don't have to come, I was just wondering so I could pick out a restaurant to eat!" He replied then sported a blush, "So, uh, is this like a date or-or-or not?" He timidly asked.

A blush dusted Lucy's cheeks as well, "Um, do-do you want it to be?"

Barry gulped and gave the slightest, smallest nod up and down while looking Lucy straight in the eye.

Lucy smiled again and rested on her tiptoes and reached up, strategically kissing a small peck on his cheek, shyly. The blush on both of them reacted and flushed even more.

Lucy looked down at the ground and shivered, "So, uh, are you gonna leave me in my pajamas' all night?"

Not the longest update, but definitely a cute one!
