Kirsten's POV:
Days went on with us three getting closer and closer to each other..
Fort would pick me up and bring me home every after his practice. All three of us would hang out and chill when we had free time. I would watch both their games and practices as much as my schedule would allow. Heck, even coach Pido knew me already and allowed me to watch their practices closer to the team. He even joked about having me as a lucky charm not only for the two, but for the whole team as well! I got closer to their teammates and yet, still closer to Fort.
I got to know him much better now. I found out that he liked that i played volleyball for my college, because he was attracted to athletic type of girls. He liked that i wasn't so conservative about everything, and that i put everything into proportion. And most of all, he liked that i was understanding. I was never too greedy of his time.
Ito namang si Teng, kapag hindi available si Fort, he makes it an effort to be there. It was too sweet. He would buy me ice cream when i had low grades. Bring me medicine when i was sick. And! Take me home when Fort couldn't. I couldn't have asked for anything more!
Don't get me wrong ha.. We talked about it na. If there was 'something' between any of us, it would be between Fort and I. Teng was only a dear friend. Someone who, as of now, i don't think i could live without.
It was like having the best of both worlds! I couldn't honestly have been any happier!
And then, my phone rang..
I picked it up and answered it with a "hello?"
"Hey babygirl.. Have your classes ended already?" Si Fort pala.
"Yeah, it's done na! Where are you? Do you want me to go to you?" I asked him.
"Uhh, andito na kami sa Gym. Sunod ka nalang. Practice was earlier than usual eh. Inaantay ka ni Teng sa labas ng building niyo." Sabi naman niya sakin.
"Huh? Akala ko maaga pratice niyo, eh bakit sinusundo pa ako ni Teng?" And weird ha!
"Ahhh, kasi.. Sabi ni coach!" Pahabol niyang sagot "sige na bye!" Sabay putol ng linya.
Ang labo naman. Kahit kelan talaga nitong si Fort :)) but no complains there. It's what makes him very appealing nga eh. Never a dull moment with him. Kahit madalas, over the phone nalang kami nakakapagusap lately gawa ng paglapit na ng exams.
Madali naman akong lumabas ng main kasi alam kong nagaantay si Teng. Umuulan pa naman, baka walang dalang payong iyon! Pag-alala ko namang iniisip ang sitwasyon niya. Paglabas ko sa main, nakita ko na siya agad. Wala naman kasi masyadong kasing tangkad nitong kaibigan kong ito eh. Nakatalikod siya kaya niyakap ko siya from behind.
"Hello prince charming! Sabi ni Fort susunduin mo daw ako?" Palambing kong simula kay Teng.
"Ikaw talaga babygirl, kahit kelan paimportante! Ang tagal mo naman, ang sakit na tuloy na kasu-kasuhan ko" pangasar naman sa akin ni Teng "tara na nga, inaantay pa tayo duon sa gym eh."
Inaantay? Bakit kaya?
Kung hindi niyo kami masyadong kilala, maguguluhan ka kasi pareho ko silang tratuhin na sweet. Eh siyempre, deserving naman sila both ng atensyon ko eh! Sa bait ba naman nila, pagkakaila ko pa ba sa kanilang dalawa ang pagtingin ko?
Pero the thing is, over the past few weeks, i got my feelings sorted out na..
I knew for a fact that what i felt for Fort was way more than friendship, and for Teng naman was like a brother's. i admitted it to Teng earlier on, and he was fine with it saying that it was similar to his feelings din daw.
