Don't take me around the bend.
What are you trying to mend?
This is my life,
But you're steering it
Only to go right down
The split.
I've looked over the sign
"When one door closes, another opens"
By Alexander Graham Bell.
I never got a chance
To open up
About my winning nightmare
At the crumbled wishing well.
Right...
Turn right
Down the dark falls,
Because it goes ahead and flows
Until a left shows.
How is one supposed to feel about a painful wreck?
Maybe there is comfort at the thought of flinging myself out -
Knocking against a door with no check.
All I can say is it's messed up.
My first key,
My first bent key,
All at the same time.
It becomes a mocking spare.
As I dig past the remains of home.
