Zion couldn't remember the last time he fell asleep since he never needed to do so, minus the instances he had gotten so drunk he passed out, but he slept holding Lisandra tight to him that night. Opening his eyes he looked down to find her snuggled up to his chest, a warm feeling steeling through him seeing her looking so vulnerable, trusting him while she slept. He was going to have a difficult time finding a way to sever these growing feelings for her before they grew any stronger, lifting his hand he stroked a finger gently down her arm admiring the soft glow she gave off in her sleep. He wondered faintly if she did that normally or if it was just with him since she seemed to only light up around him.
Glancing to the door at his back he scowled darkly, no matter how much he wished the moment would last forever it would not, he had to face the music at some point. Carefully sliding out of the bed so as not to wake her he pulled on his tank top, wincing as his back ached slightly from the slight clawing it took from his human. That was definitely something he hadn't expected from her, nor had he expected the night to go the way it had either. While it wasn't the way he had planned things he was glad that she had trusted him enough to let him show her how things were supposed to be, he hoped that she would trust him enough to let him do it again if it got him closer to his goal.
Sliding his boots on he quickly laced them up while his gaze went to the feather sitting on the nightstand still, reaching over he picked it up and examined it. It's glossy black sheen and soft feel deceiving to its owner who may have angelic looks but was nowhere near as soft or gentle. Leaning over he set it back down on the nightstand, getting to his feet he moved to the door and quietly moved outside to the hallway, shutting it firmly behind him he found Zyr standing just on the other side guarding it.
Grumbling irritably he left the demon to watch the room so he could get something to drink, he definitely needed it having been blue balled the other night. Spotting Titus slumped over the bar nursing what was most likely a hangover he stalked on over to take the seat beside him, Desdemona cleaning up the glasses on the other side. The place was empty for the most part save a couple demoness's in the back corner no doubt gossiping.
"Judging from those scratches on your back I assume you had a good night." Titus commented bitterly.
"Judging by your sour attitude I assume you did not." He chuckled. "But no. Got cock blocked by the bastard that raped her. She's still afraid to do anything." He asked Desdemona for something a little strong while pulling out a cigarette from his jeans pocket, lighting it with his fingers.
"I know I said I wouldn't let something as silly as a human come between us but your risking exposing us all by bringing her here." Titus said looking up at him from where he rested his chin on his arms.
"We've got bigger problems than one girl seeing someone sprout wings. Hunters followed me last night from the concert." At his words Titus shot upright in alarm, slamming his hands down on the bar.
"You waited to tell me this now?! We need to raise the red alert!" Titus shoved away from the bar toppling his seat as he stumbled back, clearly just a little drunk still.
"Zyr should have already done so. Relax, so long as nobody goes out alone they should be fine." Titus glared at him.
"How could you let them follow you back here?!" Growling threateningly in the back of his throat he turned towards his friend, he understood his panic but there was no reason to do so.
"I didn't. They had a seeker with them, thought I ditched them at the concert but apparently not." Titus ran his fingers through his long silver hair while placing a hand on his hip. "They almost nabbed Lisandra and that's why she's here." Puting the cigarette to his lips he inhaled deeply, closing his eyes as he tried to keep himself calm, nodding in thanks to the demoness behind the bar when she set his drink in front of him.
