Chapter 23

*Addi's POV*

"What kind of pranks should we do?"Nash asks.

I smirk as I see the guy from the balloon dart booth leave to go on break.

"We should pretend to work at one of the booths." I say laughing and point to the balloon darts.

"YES!" Nash screeches, already grabbing my hand and pulling me to the empty booth.

As we get there Nash tries to nonchalantly slide over the counter but ends up Falling on the ground on the other side. Once he gets up he tries to play it off, which only makes us both laugh. Then he puts the apron with pockets for money and tickets hanging from the wall around his waist. He actually looks like he works there it's hilarious. I stand there laughing hysterically.

A moment later two boys that look around 10 are approaching the booth. I control my laughter and stand to the side as I pull out my phone and open up vine to take a few videos.

"How much is it for 3 darts?" Asks one of the boys.

"Buy me a mango and you can have as many darts as you want." Nash said with a straight face.

The kid looked confused and like he didn't really understand.

Then Nash whispers "The mango flies at midnight." He sounded like a drug dealer.

I couldn't control my laughter anymore I was full on laughing.

The two boys look at each other then one of them says "Uh we don't want any drugs." then run away. Which does not help the laughing situation.

"That was great!" I chuckle out.

"Oh my god I can't breath." He says holding his stomach.

"We should probably be done with The games now.." I say making us both laugh a little more.

It's just now beginning to get dark and we start riding some of the rides. Like the loopty loop, some other roller coasters I don't remember the names to, bumper cars, and now we're waiting in line for the Farris wheel.

We're going to be the next to get on and I can feel my stomach tightening, I mean I'm not to fond of hights but I'm also not scared to death of them. I think Nash can tell I'm kind of freaked out so he grabs my hand and kisses my forehead. God I love when he kisses my forehead, it gives me butterflies.

The man is now asking to see our wrist bands, so we hold our hands out, he looks at them then lets us enter. We sit down in the metal seat as he pushes down the bar in front of us and latches it. I take a deep breath and Nash puts his arm around me. The worker pushes the button and the seat starts moving. I lay my head on Nash's shoulders and he cuddles his on top of mine. I start to forget about the height because all I can think about is Nash.

We comfortably sit there in silence deep in thought until Nash breaks it "I love you." He whispers.

I look up at him kind of in shock and smile "I love you too." I whisper back.

*Nash's POV*

As we sit there cuddling, her head nestled on my shoulder and mine on hers it feels so right. I could tell she was scared at first but now she's loosening up. I look down at her, this girl is just so perfect.

I can't help myself from blurting it out "I love you."

She looks up and smiles then replies back "I love you too."

I take in the view, it's so beautiful I can see all the colorful lights from all the rides reflecting off the lake that is right next to the amusement park. We're almost at the top of the Ferris wheel now and I really want to kiss her. I know it's cliche but it does seem like the perfect moment. It's starts moving up again and we're now directly at the top.
