Chapter four - Paying her back

"Pay up! Like I predicted, you lost." I stretched my delicate hand close to Jay's sweaty face, a smug expression across my own, just as Mrs Flanders dismissed us from our PE class. She always left us fifteen minutes to take a shower and change.  Jay and I, along with a couple of other fellow sport-lovers, hung around in the training cage a while longer since we had break after PE anyway.

"Dude, she owned you back there! You didn't have a chance," Jack, the captain of the football team, teased. He took his t-shirt off, his stomach wrapped with six distinct packs, and laid down on the short grassy ground, his head resting on his right arm, revealing plenty of underarm hair.  The wind blew his gorgeous black hair from left to right and his sea blue eyes glowed with mockery. Following his pursuit the rest of us laid onto the glass close to him in the centre of the training cage, where we allowed the wind to sweep away the heat that our bodies had taken in from the PE lesson. The rest of the guys took their t-shirts off too before lying down, but I was only interested in Jay, Unable to remove my eyes from the amazingly attractive body that Jay had built up over the years. I took a quick glance at his face realising I was gaping at his oh-so-wonderful body while he was watching me.

"Enjoying something?" Jay winked, lying down next to me. I lowered my face, gaining an interest on a patch of browning grass, allowing my hair to cover the blush evident across my cheeks.

"So where's my money?" I changed the subject, daring myself to look at his face again.

"Yeah, you gotta give her the money now, there was no point in it anyway; we all know she's better than you. She was miles ahead of you!" Chelsea commented. She was the only one not lying down; she was sitting on the grass though, permitting the wind to brush against her soft, glossy, blonde hair. She's one of those slim and slender girls who go on a diet due to being conscious of their body. She stuck her tongue out at Jay, yet there was a way about her unusual amber eyes gazing at him very intensely.

"I can nothing but agree with the both of them. Sorry man, but it's gotta be said," Andrew added. Being the one who doesn't like upsetting anyone Andrew apologises a lot, beyond your imagination and sometimes it does my head in. His apple green eyes showed guilt through them. He was just as muscle-y as Jack and Jay, and just like the rest of us (Chelsea, Jack, jay and I), he attracted a lot of attention of his own with his short, blonde hair and those eyes, those dazzling eyes. He has a small, cute nose, just perfect for his rounded face and a defined square jaw.  Do I sound as though I'm lusting over him too? Well I'm not. Everyone appreciates hotties and I'm just telling it how it is.

"You guys can talk! From what I observed back there, while Taz was first at the run I came second; only twenty seconds behind her but the rest of you; I'm ashamed to call you guys my fellow PE classmates, especially you Jack." A few of us snickered, while I burst out laughing, at his failed attempt on defending himself.

"Well we weren't foolish enough to challenge her and besides we're not slow, she's just really fast," Chelsea added once she composed herself from the laughter.

"She's right man, if someone came to watch one of our football matches they wouldn't think we were slow until they saw Taz," Jack explained, propping up onto his elbow and places his other arm around my shoulders as he was lying down on my other side, "hey Taz! That might not be such a bad idea."

"Or maybe you could join the volleyball team?" Chelsea suggested. The three of our heads snapped towards her direction.

"I think she's fine with her basketball team and athletics team, not to add the netball team. Mrs Flanders is pestering her to join the swimming team too and I think Taz is thinking about it," Jay replied on my behalf. God! I could've melted away with the killer smile I received from him. You would've thought I'd have gotten used to it from the amount of times he's given me that smile, but each and every time it just melts my heart. Jay is rarely upset so I would've thought my heart disappeared by now, but the strong feelings I maintain towards him say otherwise.
