*one week later*
Anabell’s p.o.v.
“Alright, you girls ready yet?!” I yell up the stairs to the girls. I then see them trudge down the stairs with their luggage in tow.
“Yes! Let’s do this!!” Arabell says jumping up and down even though she is weighed down by her bag. We all head out to the car and I make sure Lily has food, water and a clean litter box. I pick her up and kiss her head before setting her down. She meows in response.
“Don’t worry Lily we’ll be back soon enough.” I say to her and she meows back. I shut the door and head over to the drivers seat. “So has anyone talked to Liam lately?” I ask looking around at the girls who all just shake their heads. “Maybe I should call him then.” I say before picking up my phone, hitting the button for the garage door and scrolling through my contacts. I look up into the rearview mirror and see a dark shadow standing there with something in their hand. I scream and all the girls look back and start screaming too. The person comes over to my door and tapes on the window. I look up and see a mess of curly hair and then they turn to me and I see it’s just Danielle. I roll down the window.
“Geez you scared the crap out of us.” I say clutching my heart which is still beating frantically.
“Oh I’m so sorry.” Danielle says looking around at the girls who are still trying to catch their breathes. “I just wanted to give you something before you leave.” She pulls a box out of her coat pocket and hands it to me.
“What is it?” I ask looking at it questioningly.
“Just open it silly.” She says with a smile. I open the box warily and see that it contains the most beautiful golden locket inside.
“What-What? Why are you giving me this??” I ask looking up at her surprised.
“Liam gave it to me for our one year anniversary. I want you to have it.”
“But why? Are you sure you don’t want to keep it?”
“Yeah I’m sure. Plus it’s my engagement present to you.” Danielle says smiling. ‘Well I guess I can’t really refuse it now.’ I smile back.
“Thank you.” Danielle nods and heads back to her car. I pick it up and wrap it around my neck. I back out the driveway and head to the airport.
*about half an hour into the flight*
“Ugh!!! Can we just get there already?!!” Dawn whines jumping up and down in her seat causing many annoyed looks from the surrounding passengers.
“Cutie Pie, we still have another hour on this plane.” I say trying to calm her a bit. She replies with a pouty look and slumping back in her chair.
“But Anabell, can you blame her? I mean we’ve only waited our whole lives to see Paris and now we‘re so close…” Arabell says glancing up from her shoe magazine.
“Well since we’ve waited our whole lives so far then she can wait one more hour.” I say matter-of-factly. Arabell just rolls her eyes and continues looking at shoes. I look over at Dawn and Liz across the aisle and see they are sharing some ear buds now, probably listening to One Direction. I lean back and close my eyes for a bit.
…
“Anabell!! ANABELL!!!” I feel someone next to me elbow me in the side.
“Oww…” I open my eyes and clutch my rib cage. “What was that for?” I ask looking over at Arabell.
“You fell asleep and we are landing now.”
“YAYY!!!!” I say suddenly feel very awake. I look over at the girls and see them once again jumping in their seats and this time I can’t help but join them. We finally land and get off the plane. “So should we set up a tour or…” I drift off as I see the girls looking around completely lost. ‘Tour it is.’ We head over and get on a tour bus but unfortunately the Eiffel Tower is the last thing on their list. After about another hour we make it to the Eiffel Tower.
