"Jade, wake up," Jade heard Perrie's voice in her ears.
"Huh?" she turned her head, with Perrie looking at her over her shoulder.
"Get ready," Perrie coaxed, "We're going hiking."
Jade opened her eyes and saw Perrie lying beside her, but unlike Jade, she had already freshened up. She looked around and saw the room bustling with activities, some were getting ready, some were just sitting around, though they've already dressed up.
Jade felt a sharp throbbing on her hypogastric region and hunched, assuming a foetal position.
"Babe, you okay?" She heard Perrie asking. Jade shut her eyes tightly, as the cramp took over her. She inhaled sharp breaths, burying her face into the pillow. She moved her legs closer to her stomach but immediately regret it when the throbbing pain on her ankle came back
"Jade?"
"Just, period cramps," Jade muttered, not moving from her position, "and my ankle hurts."
Perrie said nothing but instead sat on the bed, gently pulling Jade's leg to her lap. She massaged the red area of Jade's ankle, noting that it wasn't as red as it was the day before, and the swelling had gone down.
"Are we ready to go?" Louis' voice echoed the room.
"Jade! Why the hell are you still sleeping!" Louis tried to drag the younger girl off the bed.
"Go ahead, I'm too tired," Jade mumbled while rubbing her eyes, showing everyone the dark spots under her eye.
She wasn't lying though. She had been tossing around the whole night due to the pain on her ankle. When the pain on her ankle subsides, her cramps decided it was time to disturb her instead.
"I think I'll stay with her instead," Perrie said, her hands still massaging Jade's ankle.
"No, just go. I can manage."
"Babe."
"Perrie, please," Jade begged, not wanting to trouble anyone.
Perrie sighed, knowing how stubborn the brunette is.
"Fine," she gets off the bed, "take care," she gave a peck of Jade's forehead.
Everyone bid Jade goodbye as Jade snuggled comfortably in her hoodie, her mind drifting to dream world. Before she fell asleep, Jade felt someone kissed her forehead.
"Take care, Thirlwall," and she drifted to sleep.
---
Jade stretched her arms out, feeling the weariness shaking off her. She reached out for her phone under the pillow, noticing the room was now dimmed, so someone must have closed the curtain before going out.
12.30p.m.
Jade squinted, as the sudden brightness hurt her eyes. She laid straight on her bed, moving her ankle slowly so that it will not hurt. She could hear her stomach growling and she squirmed in her position, trying to silence the rumbling.
"Hungry, aye?" Jade's head shot up and saw Harry sitting on the bed opposite hers, his back against the wall.
"When did you get back?"
"I decided not to go," he shrugged his shoulders, his attention still on the game he was playing on his phone.
Jade's stomach rumbled again, to her chagrin. Harry looked up from his phone and looked at Jade, a smirk playing on his face. Without any words, he got up and picked up a small, round container on the small table by the door.
