"Why are you so jumpy today?" Louis asked Perrie, who was sitting alone on the couch, baby Amelia on her laps, in the corner of the studio. 

Little Mix and One Direction are once again, gathered to record a special single to raise funds for those who are in need. Niall and Leigh-Anne have yet to arrive, with the others teasing them for not being able to keep away from each other. They had been dating for only a month but had taken a big decision to move in together.

Jade and Harry decided to grab some lunch since they were rushing earlier on and Perrie does not want to ask exactly why they had no time. She took a glance at their messy clothes and she gets the clue, so Perrie offered to take care of 5 months old Amelia while the parents grab their lunch. Jesy and Liam had arrived too, but they had excused themselves to do the toilet and once again, Perrie does not want to know what they're doing in there.

"Nothing, just sleepy," Perrie feigned a yawn. Amelia watched her godmother yawned and giggled, finding the action funny.

"Why are you laughing, Little Lou?" She ticked the baby's stomach. "Am I funny for you?" She pinched Amelia's cubby, rosy cheeks. Amelia giggled louder, kicking her legs and shaking the rattle in her hand at the same time.

"Why are you so adorable, Millie?" Louis scooted over pinched her cheeks too. "So are you not telling me what happened?" 

Perrie sighed, not knowing what to say. Louis, like the girls, is her best friend too. There are somethings that she feels comfortable talking to the girls about, and there are some things she'd rather turn to Louis for help, especially when it concerns Alex. Like now.

The blonde girl bit her lower lips. "I think Alex is going to propose to me," she confides in Louis.

Louis raised his brows. "And why would you think that?"

"Well I," she gulped, "I might have invaded his privacy a little bit. I found a small box in his drawer yesterday. He's also been acting weird around me so I assumed he's going to propose. I mean, he did hint that to me at Amelia's christening. I mean, Little Lou."

"Do you hate the idea of it?"

"Of course not!" She screeched, shocking Amelia but she soon focused on her rattle again. "I love him, and I'm ready to start a family with him. It's just that, my previous engagement went downhill. It took me a long time to really get over it."

"You need closure," Louis concluded. He felt Perrie's gaze on him. "You and Zayn." She flinched slightly at the mention of his name. "When you guys broke up, you didn't have proper closure. That's why you're afraid."

Perrie said nothing and turned her gaze to Amelia who was now biting her toy. She knows it's true. But she can't possibly text her ex-fiancee out of a sudden, can she? 

"Hey, I'll help you set up a meeting with him, okay? So don't worry."

Perrie smiled at Louis, giving him a side hug. "Thanks, Louis. I don't know what I'll do without you."

"I need your help too. My friend is thinking of proposing to his friend, but he has no idea what she likes."

Perrie stared at Louis, as though analysing his face. Then she gasped. "Oh my god! You're proposing to Eleanor?" She didn't notice how his face dropped at the mention of Eleanor.
