1st Day of Tour
"Date, huh?" Perrie teased as I applied some blusher on my cheeks, followed by lipstick.
"It's not," I rolled my eyes at the younger member.
"Since when do you wear make-up to soundcheck?" Leigh-Anne poked on my pink cheeks as I swatted her hand away.
"Jesy's also wearing make-up! Why are you not asking her?" Jesy sat on the corner, shrugging at my comment nonchalantly.
"Because we know Liam's gonna be there. But you, didn't you say there's no one to impress?" Leigh-Anne mocked.
"Shut up," I muttered.
"So, where is Mr Styles bringing you?" Perrie asked, as though I hadn't spilt all information I had to them a few days ago.
"It's just lunch, Pez. As friends," I emphasized.
"But friends don't know the way you taste," Leigh-Anne wiggled her eyebrows.
"Stop singing that song," Jesy threw a packet of sweet to Leigh-Anne, distaste on her face.
I looked at my watch and saw that it was nearing 12 noon. Harry and I had agreed a few days ago to meet at a diner near the arena we are performing to make travelling easier. I read my last text with him. Our last text was two days before, and it was me asking him if we were still on for today. He did not reply to me, but he did not cancel either, so I assumed the plan was still on.
I grabbed my black cap and put it on, grabbing my black Gucci belt-bag and secured it around my waist. I hurriedly exited the room.
"Have fun!" Jesy screamed out after me.
"But not too much fun!" I heard Perrie yelp after shouting them, Jesy must have hit her for the comment.
Since the diner was only a few minutes away, I decided to walk instead. Some fans noticed me and asked for pictures and autographs, but I didn't mind them and even made small conversations with them. I decided to wear my cap to cover my face afterwards. I smiled happily as I skipped down the road, my green parka attracting others' attention as it was particularly a hot day. I didn't mind their stares and wiped away my sweat instead, with no intentions of removing my parka. #JARKAWINS
I sat down on a booth right at the end of the diner, where I know would give us the privacy we need, though the full glass window begged to differ.
To: Harry Styles
Hey, I've reached. In the booth right at the end xx
I waited for Harry to reply but his status bar did not appear as 'online'. I placed my phone on the table. He's probably running late, he's always late anyway.
Ten minutes in and Hary has not arrived. I've called him but he wasn't available to pick up so I assumed he was rushing here. I didn't think much of it and ordered a strawberry milkshake for myself first and a chocolate one for Harry, to quench my thirst.
15 minutes late, and Harry shows no signs of replying my texts and calls. I texted Niall to ask if Harry's around but his reply says that Harry was already out. Our milkshake has arrived and I saw the waitress throwing a pitiful glance at me.
30 minutes in and I felt weary. My milkshake was now half empty and my stomach has been growling since I reached here. I contemplated to order first but decided not to. In case, just in case, Harry wants to eat something else. Harry's milkshake sat opposite me, melting away.
45 minutes in, paparazzi have gotten tips that I was in the diner and was slowly gathering outside the glass window, where they will catch a full glimpse of me. I pulled my cap lower to hide my face and turned away from the window so that they could not capture my disappointed first. The waitress approached me again, for the 5th time in the last ten minutes, saying that they need the table as it is the lunch hour.
