Part 59- THE TWINS

ASHLEY’S POV

“What kind of reaction is that?” I felt like punching his face while he looks so startled. Si Sisy naman hayun at natutuwa pa! What’s so funny about that?

My sister just admits that they have a twin and he’ll just shut up like a mute person? Hindi niya alam kung gaano kahirap na aminin yun ni Sisy sa kanya, sempre ibang ibang mundo ang iniikutan ni Pimentel sa Pilipinas. Hindi naman siya ang nangailangan na patigilin sa ampunan ang mga anak nila sa ibang bansa para lang maitago sila sa mga kalaban ng Greene.

Yes, my sister needs to send the twins in an orphanage since they were born. Palagi lang may charity event at may bantay sa dalwa kaya madalas nagkakasama ang mag iina. They have a private personnel assigned to look for the twins and I always watch the two when my sister needs to attend to something. Somehow, even on their young age I always try to explain everything to the twins, kaya nga madalas kaming mag away ng siraulong Sisy Greene na yun.

“I am already a father without knowing it for how many years? Two? Three?” His voice sounds in pain and it also sounds accusing. I can’t help but to raise my eyebrows. Oo nga at may atraso si Sisy sa kanya dahil basta na lang ito nawala noon, pero sa loob ng ilang taon hindi ba niya narealize kung gaano nahirap ang lahat para dito? Actually para saamin, because believe it or not, most of the time, I babysit the twins! Hindi lang basta babysit.. kailangan walang makakakita, walang makakaalam, so I almost become a nun who always stay in the orphanage . I also assist and conduct charity events as an alibi.

I can’t help but to scoff pero namilipit agad ako nang maramdaman ang tama ko.
“Okay ka pa ba?” Nilingon ko si Trance na katabi ko pala dito sa likod. He is eyeing me like he wants to cut my head off.

“What’s your problem?” I rolled my eyes as he points out the wound at my tummy. “I didn’t notice they were about fifty, I thought they’re just around thirty.” I whispered for his ears only. My sister doesn’t know what I really do. And this is the very first time na natamaan ako ng kalaban ng ganito.

Trance clenched his hands before cursing. “Idiot! Moron, stupid! Crazy!”

I glance at the others when they started to laugh. Si Wallace at si Hunter pati si Lee! At nakakairita dahil pati si Vash napapangiti. Ano ba kasing prublema ng ugok na to?

“Easy on her..” nakangisi si Wallace.

“Kalma loverboy, nagseselos na ako..” tukso naman ni Lee dito.

“ Do you have a brain inside that head of yours? ” nakabaling na tanong niya sakin and if I could only use my gun now, he’s probably dead too. But he is holding my gun! My very own gun is in Trance Lewis’s hands!

I tried to ignore him like what he did to the other guys.

“Kung hindi pa kayo tapos maglambingan diyan pakibaba na lang ako sa tabi.” Singit ko sa matamis na pagtitinginan nina Vince. The heck, they’re in a very awkward situation earlier, bakit ngayon parang wala nang bukas kung mag tinginan ang dalwang to, and they’re not even talking to ech other! Just staring!

“We are going to treat  the Pres at the hotel , makisabay ka na din.” Walang ganang sabat sakin ni Trance at naiirita na talaga ako sa kinikilos nito. Napataas ang kilay ko nang lingunin ako ni Sisy. She is smirking like an idiot.

“Yeah, masaya bang idamay ang ama ng anak mo sa mga gantong party?” Wala sa sariling natanong  ko kaya nakagat ko na lang ang labi ko nang makita kong maiiyak na siya.

“Don’t mind her Pres. Bitter lang yan, kahit boyfriend kasi ni hindi pa yan nagkakaron.” I gawked at Trance. Usually, hindi siya yung paseryoso effect, ngayon lang. Palaging si Lee ang pinatitripan niya.
