Six (lion) months have past since Kion saved the Tree of Life and became king. Everyone and everything is now safe and resolved. But just when they started to relax, they didn't realize danger was just around the corner. A mysterious someone attacks...
"Kion." says a small voice. "Kion!" King Kion wakes up to find Makini in front of his face trying to wake him.
"Makini, isn't it a little early to start patrol?"
"Yeah, but it doesn't hurt to start early."
"Good point."
Kion gets up and stretches before exiting the Tree. It has been six (lion) months since his coronation. He is now halfway of growing a full lion mane.
He finds Rani walking up to him a little tired. "Wow, your up early!"
"Uh, yeah. Makini woke me up a little bit earlier than I usually would be up."
Rani chuckles.
"Guess I should get the others." Kion attempts to walk to get the members of his guard but Rani blocks his way.
"Before you go," she gets close to his face and licks the side of his face.
Kion thought to himself, "Whoa..."

Rani laughed. " Good luck on patrol!"

Kion runs down to find Fuli and Azaad. "You two having another race?"
"For the two hundred forty-eighth time." Azaad says.
"Ready, go!" Fuli yelled getting a small head start before Azaad.
Fuli: Once upon a time, I thought my whole life relied on independence. Thought that doing things "my own way" would bring me at least some acceptance. But when my friends are in my need, I should know I must take the lead. And in the end I guess I never left their sides. And after things I did and all the things that I tried I find that, here we are in the future!
