Six (lion) months have past since Kion saved the Tree of Life and became king. Everyone and everything is now safe and resolved. But just when they started to relax, they didn't realize danger was just around the corner. A mysterious someone attacks...
"KION! Kion! kion!" Anga's voice fades out into nothingness. Kion didn't hear or see anything. Until he hears another voice calling his name.
"Kion?" Kion wakes up to find Rani. She has a worried look on her face. "Are you okay?"
"I think." He looks around and knew they were inside the Tree.
"What happened? When Ullu came to get us, we saw all of you on the ground. Anga was the only one okay."
"Wait, where is everyone else?"
"They're outside. Nirmala says that they're still alive and healthy, but their appearance looks different."
"What do you mean?"
"They have different colors on the outside."
Kion said to himself, "Was it that lion?"
"What lion?"
"There was a lion who attacked us. Ono thinks he is my brother."
"Brother? I thought you only had a sister, Kiara."
"That's what I first thought too. He had a roar, I think he said it was the Roar of Lifelight. He created that pillar outside and he said he rejuvenated the rest of the guard. I couldn't tell if I also got struck or not."
"You did," Anga said as she flew into the liar.
"What? Where?"
Rani looks all over Kion. "I think she means that gray spot on your left paw." Kion looked down on his paw and saw the gray spot she was talking about.

"Are the others like this, Anga?"
"Yup." The three of them went outside and they see Baliyo, Surak, Makini, and Nirmala examining the guard.
Baliyo talked to Kion. "I heard what you guys were talking about. Are you sure there was a lion who had a roar that attacked you? Because it would have been one against six. So what you said sounds unrealistic."
"I'm pretty sure that happened. That would explain the huge pillar." The two looked at the pillar near Cikha Escarpment.
Suddenly they heard a small grunt. It was Fuli. "Looks like Fuli's waking up." Nirmala told Kion.
"Fuli, are you okay?"
Fuli looks up at him still on the ground. She looks around and then rubs her eye. She sees a small pebble right next to her and curiously plays around with it.
"Uh, Fuli?"
Kion walks around his friend and finds that the Mark of the Night Pride (or Day Guard as Bunga would say) has disappeared on her right shoulder.
