I just can't believe that we're finally together. And what's even better, is that I get to be with her in Upstate County. Finally, it's everything I wanted: Kayleigh, simple life, an opportunity to make my life better, I mean, just by the looks of it, I finally realized what it really means to be the lucky one. Now, I'm the luckiest man alive.
I ordered some breakfast for me and Kayleigh then went out for a while. I saw a store, the same store where I bought her green dress and I went there. I then saw a beautiful heart necklace. I smiled. I'll make sure I'll give this to Kayleigh when we leave for Upstate County. I'm pretty sure she'll love it.
As soon as I bought it, I smiled and kept it in my pocket until...
"Sebastian?"
I heard someone calling me. But it's not Kayleigh. I then turned around and was shocked to see someone; Colleen.
"Colleen?" I said as she approached me, "What are you doing here?" She then hugged me but I pulled away immediately.
"What are you doing here?" I asked again.
"I've been looking for you Sebastian. I've been looking for you everywhere."
"But-"
"I know it's my fault that you left Sebastian. I shouldn't have hurt you. Just, come home."
"But we're over. You said so yourself."
"I just want you back." She said as she tried to pull me close to her but I pushed her.
"Colleen, we need to stop this okay? We keep doing this again and again. We keep going back together, we keep breaking up. This is wrong. I found love from someone and it felt right. You should find love that feels right as well."
She then got mad and crossed her arms on her chest, "Let me guess, that new girl in school Sebastian? Kayleigh Barrow?"
"How did you-"
"You think the whole school didn't know? You think the suburbs didn't know? You were gone Sebastian, along with Kayleigh. I mean, let's be honest. Why would you love a creep like her?"
"She's not a creep." I raised my voice, "She's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. She understands me, she cares for me, unlike you. I'm so tired of getting you to use me."
"She cares for you, she understands you, and she loves you. But she can never love you the way I do." She said as she kissed me. I was shocked that I pushed her away.
"What the fuck Colleen. Are you fucking insane?"
She didn't look at me. Instead, she looked from beyond my shoulder. She then smirked then said the words that I wish I didn't hear in a situation like this:
"You must be Kayleigh Barrow."
