Percy
Time was hard to tell on the island, but the summer solstice hadn't even arrived before 3 heroes washed up on the shores of Ogygia.
They came crawling out of the surf on hands and knees, in ragged clothes. We hurriedly ran to the beach, and cared for them.
They were weathered and barely breathing, with several injuries, but I recognized them: Piper, Jason and Leo.
"Annabeth," Piper sputtered.
"What?" I asked.
"Annabeth," she said, clearly about to pass out. "Annabeth gave us her blessing so we could go free you."
We fed them nectar and ambrosia and helped them to Calypso's cave, laying them down. They all passed out immediately. The boat that they had gone down in had been magical. Otherwise, it wouldn't have led to Ogygia.
We nursed them back to help the next few days. Jason was the first to wake up, and stayed by Pipers side.
While he waited on her to fully come back to consciousness, he told us all the details of his quest.
"The gods didn't want freeing you to be easy," Jason shook his head. "They said first off, you had to get a blessing from a god or goddess in order to even get the quest, which is supposed to be impossible but Annabeth said she had to repay you for showing her who she really was. I think she still has that soft spot for you Percy."
I frowned. How could I ever repay Annabeth? All that history we had, and now we could barely speak.
"There were 12 trials we had to go through," Jason said. "With just about as many monsters as you can think of, all these near impossible tasks."
"But not impossible for us." Leo had woken up. "Nothing is quite impossible for Sparky, Sweetheart Girl and King McShizzle."
"Definitely not," I smiled at Leo. "I'm in debt to you all for coming this far..."
"It was no trouble," Jason said. "You've saved us a few too many times for us to just forget, as much as the gods would like. The camp kept pushing this quest, they wouldn't stop. Heck, even Clarisse volunteered to go."
"How did you guys get chosen?" I asked. "Well, other than the fact that you're definitely the most qualified."
"Annabeth chose us," Jason replied. "She refused to grant anybody else her blessing, and none of the other gods or goddesses would give theirs. We had some help from a few of them along the way though- Artemis, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite. It was a long journey. Sometimes it seemed hopeless. We believe Zeus forbade any god or goddess from giving their blessing for the next century."
"Is Annabeth in danger?" I asked.
Calypso didn't seem too happy that that was all I got out of that.
"I think we're the ones in danger," Leo said. "But I'm sure it doesn't look the best for Annabeth..."
Calypso stared at me apprehensively. She pursed her lips. "Thank you for your bravery. We can never repay you."
"That's for sure," I agreed. I owed a thanks to Annabeth, too. She had risked everything to help me, and to get me out of the mess I was in. Annabeth has saved my skin again. She had come around.
"Poseidon gave us the boat after we completed the land trials," Jason said. "It's enchanted. It would lead us through the sea trials and then here."
"What do you have to do from here?" I asked.
"Free you, get you out of here," Jason said. "Unfortunately, we don't have a boat."
I grinned. "Leave that to me."
