Eternal Dream

Episode 1

Looking at the cracked mirror beside her bed, Feng Jiu got frustrated when she couldn't see herself. Lifting her left hand, she used her magic and made the mirror new again. It was her coronation to become Queen of the Fox tribe.

Since her aunt went to live at the Heavenly Palace with Ye Hua and their son A-Li, the responsibility of being Queen rested on her shoulders. She was determined to make her aunt and her parents proud of her, by taking in the responsibility. Her maid walked into her room, carrying a tray with her red hanfu dress, her headdress with multiple pins to make her beautiful.

The maid helped her into the dress first, slipping her red shoes on and as Feng Jiu sat on the chair in front of her brand new mirror, watched as the maid put red dangling earrings into her ear lobes and then brushed her hair, styling it and setting into place with the main head piece and the red dangly pins.

With the make up spread across the vanity table in front of her, the maid dabbed a brush into the powder and spread it across her cheeks, before using another brush to place red eye shadow along her eye lids. The eye liner went on next and then the maid dabbed some red gloss along her lips and then brought a cloth for her to hold between her lips.

After everything was done, Feng Jiu looked at herself in the mirror, her cockscomb birth mark on her forehead was red and her eyes traced every outline of her face. A chime happened and Feng Jiu turned around to see Mi Gu, her servant walk in and bowed his head.

"It is time your Majesty" he said. 

He then stood to the side as the maid helped Feng Jiu up and walked her to the entrance of her room. She turned around to take a good look of her room before turning back to the entrance way and walked through, her maid and servant following behind her.

As she walked out, she saw the people of her Qing Qiu fox Realm standing along the sidelines, waiting for her. Up on the podium where she would be announced as the new Queen, there sat a chair and stairs leading from in front of her, to the chair.

Taking a deep breath, she walked up the stairs, holding the front hem of her dress up so she wouldn't trip. Getting to the top, she turned around and the crowd around her bursted out into applause for their new Queen. Feng Jiu stood there with her hands clasped in front of her as she smiled to them.

After the ceremony, Feng Jiu retired to her room to get changed, she used her magic to change her red dress into a flowy pink hanfu dress, her hair down with a few clips and her make up changed to a lighter skin tone shade.

Walking out of her den, she went and celebrated with her people and the people of the Mortal Realm, for once, she felt like she had control over her life.

A few weeks later, Feng Jiu had worked her hardest to become a good Queen to Qing Qiu, so she decided to take a trip to the Heavenly Realm to see her aunt and little A-Li. She dressed into a white hanfu dress, adorned her head in beautiful hair pieces and her crown.

She stepped through a portal and on the other side, she was met with guards. 

"I am Queen Bai Feng Jiu of the Fox tribe, I wish to see my aunt the Empress" Feng Jiu said and they bowed to her and let her through. As she walked past them, she disappeared into pink smoke and ended up in front of her aunt's Palace.

Her maid Nai Nai walked out of the Palace and greeted Feng Jiu before giving her news that the Empress was in the main hall where the throne room was. Feng Jiu happily thanked her and was on her way past the lotus ponds, not looking where she was going, she bumped into someone and fell to the ground.

"I apologise" Feng Jiu said before she looked up and her eyes widened. She had never met someone so handsome in her life, her heart thudded in her chest and she slightly blushed as she got up and dusted herself off.

"I am so sorry" Feng Jiu said and bowed her head before she ran off past him towards the throne room with the man looking after her. Feng Jiu knew in her heart and her soul that she fell in love with this man, and she wanted to do her best to make him fall in love with her.

Finally appearing in front of the throne room, she was announced in and she walked into the main Palace hall, where she saw her aunt sitting next to Ye Hua with Ah Li in between them. Ah Li now looked like he was 15,000 years old age.

Stopping before them, she bowed gracefully "greetings to your Majesties and Crown Prince" Feng Jiu said and QianQian smiled before getting up and Ah Li ran from between them to Feng Jiu.

"Cousin" he said and hugged her tightly as Feng Jiu smiles. 

"Riceball, it's your Highness" Bai Qian said and Ye Hua patted Qian's hand and smiled. 

"He hasn't seen her since he was 500 years old" Ye Hua said.

Feng Jiu picked Ah Li up and held him in her arms as she walked to her aunt to hand him over. 

"I have missed you aunt, I have been doing my best to be a better Queen to the people" Feng Jiu said and Bai Qian smiled. 

"I am so proud of you Feng Jiu" she said and hugged her.

"Lord Dong Hua Dijun is here your Majesties" a voice called and they turned to see the white haired man that Feng Jiu bumped into walked up to them and bowed his head. When he turned to look at her, Feng Jiu gasped and ran from her spot past Dijun and out of the building. She knew she would have to talk to Bai Qian about this later.
